The Barrie office staff are absolutely tremendous, they understand each employees requirements and accommodate them wonderfully. Providing quality care to the unique needs of each customer is high on the list of why I enjoy working here. I don't consider this a job....more like friends, helping friends!

What she wants most is to end her days in her own home and through the wonderful care she's been getting from the great staff at Home Instead she's managing just fine. Mom very much looks forward to the visits from the staff engaged to look after her and they keep me well informed about how she's doing which is a challenge because I live 7 hours drive away. Can't say enough good things about Home Instead and I highly recommend them.
M	Marina P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During a recent medical emergency, I contacted Home Instead to provide care for my parents aged 96 and 98. I am their closest family member (daughter) but I live 3 provinces away. From the moment I communicated the desperation of the situation to the administrative staff, they took charge and arranged for on site help within 2 days. The caregivers themselves are well trained. My Mum says they are more than willing to help with whatever they need. They provide them with personal care (including pedicure!!!), meal prep, shopping, exercise facilitation, housekeeping, laundry, and take them to appointments, just to list some of their services. They even help my Mum with her computer emails. Two days ago, the caregiver observed a developing medical concern and immediately reported this to her supervisor, who in turn called me. Because of this, "CIRCLE OF CARE," we were able to avert a potentially life threatening situation. Thank you Home Instead. I have great trust and confidence in your service during these difficult times.

I have been able to really connect with my clients and being able to have the time to spend with them has proven to be SO important. Anytime I call the office with a question or concern it is always met with compassion for myself and my client . The support from the office staff has been incredible in my life. From childcare issues to unforseen problems, the management is always there to have your back! As a PSW my goal is to treat someone the way I would want to be treated and to spend the time with someone who may not have anybody. Home Instead really allows you to get to know your clients and to make them feel special, which is what all of us want :)

B	Barbara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home Instead (Barrie) provided invaluable help for my terminally ill husband and myself during his final weeks in our home. With speedy and efficient help from Derek, Candace and Ann our service was started promptly. The caregivers assigned were gentle, effective and knowledgeable. They assisted my husband with a variety of personal care needs and were constantly concerned for his comfort and well being. They helped me with housekeeping and laundry, finishing tasks quickly and willingly. We had a caregiver stay with us a few times overnight, once on very short notice. She arrived late at night, in a snowstorm, as concerned with helping me as my husband. I contacted Home Instead at a time of great stress and need and will always be grateful for their kindness, expertise and prompt, reliable service. Highly recommended.
