★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have used your services for overnight care in the spring, and now ongoing care in mornings and evenings. In both cases, the caregivers surpassed any expectations we could have had. Both caregivers are highly qualified and experienced, and also exceptionally kind and caring. I would highly recommend Home Instead Senior Care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so grateful to Jeremiah and his team for all their help this year in securing the perfect CAREgiver for my elderly mom. We got off to a bit of a rocky start with securing care at first as my mom, like many, was very resistant to any sort of care. After an unexpected hospital stay in October, it became evident that “no” was no longer an option and Jeremiah worked hard to secure the PERFECT person to support her. While I have a large extended family, everyone has their own lives to attend to and I felt it was important to secure a professional to assist my mom regularly. After two months now, my mom and her CAREgiver have developed a lovely relationship. She always tells me how much of a hardworker she is, that she is a fantastic cook and that it’s clear she is very responsible and trustworthy. As I live so far away from my mom, it’s so comforting to know that she has this support. I’m extremely grateful and look forward to continuing to work with Home Instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 2 years ago, our family were looking for home support for our mom. My dad had passed away and she was lonely. Home Instead contacted us right away providing us with information about their services over the phone. A year later, we started the minimum support of 6 hours, two days a week. It was great to know our mom had company, someone to shop for her if she needed groceries , and prep meals. We noticed a huge difference in our mom’s attitude on the days they were there. Since January, we have support every day. Each of the 3 support workers help her by cleaning, cooking, shopping, driving her to appointments, and most importantly giving her company and sincerely caring for her. Our whole family is so grateful as my mom is happy, eating well and really looked after. There isn’t a price that can be put on this kind of service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We contacted HomeInstead (HI) as my ailing Father (96) was going deaf but still wanted to live in dependently and needed round the clock in home monitoring.
HI was very courteous and professional with all their follow up communications. Our initial instructions including onsite consultation and set ups with each care companions, was carried out by the territory owner himself, attending to ensure seamless communications to and fr their services. He checked the accommodations and pointed out things to have ready in place for the service requested.
HI provided 4 different shift companions to cover the longer night shift monitoring my Father required.
I have nothing but good things to say about the care companions who came regularity. They were always on time, polite, courteous and left detailed notes per each shift covering: my fathers food intake, wake and bathroom times and anything unusual requiring follow up. My father quickly adjusted to this level of monitoring and continued living his life without frustration or worry knowing someone was around when needed assist him w anything he required.
This gave my father & us great peace of mind and I would no have hesitation in recommending Jeremiah and his dedicated team at HomeInstead.
They delivered and provided the quality level of care my father was needing and they were always great to deal with including all the caring staff who attended to my father.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot express in words how grateful I am to this company for their sincere caring, expert knowledge and skills. This was my family's first experience with having hired help come into our home and Jeremiah pretty much eased most of my anxieties during our first meeting! I felt comfortable and confident with the caregivers who were so suitably chosen for my mom and who were so very good at their jobs. Jeremiah checked in with us on a regular basis and was accommodating in every way possible. I would not hesitate to use Home Instead again in the future and I absolutely highly recommend to anyone who is in need of a professional and truly caring company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have worked for two Home Instead companies. I first worked with them when I lived in Ontario and rejoined with the company over 2 years ago in the Surrey office. I enjoy working for the company so that more seniors can remain in their homes where they feel most comfortable.
The company is very accommodating to their employees and they understand that family matters. They have excellent knowledge on how to place a caregiver with the clients needs.
I highly recommend Home Instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Mom was in the hospital and my Dad was admitted in a care facilty at the same time. Our caregiver knew both were gone from the house, but she still came to the house and now the company is expecting us to pay.
Not once did they check in to see how my Mom and Dad were doing, send a card, call or email. They just want money for the days that the caregiver showed up, that's all they care about, bottom line.

They honored her need to be independent but at the same time understood the family's needs to make sure she was safe. They found just the right person for my mother-in-law. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing help with a senior nor would I hesitate to call upon them again should the need arise. Thank you everyone at Home Instead for your excellent client care and for keeping us (her family) abreast of any concerns.
