What a fantastic company to work for. No wonder 95% of Classic employees and 99% of its clients would recommend Classic LifeCare to a friend or family member.

I worked through the Covid 19 pandemic and they did not even try to get us the pandemic pay we deserved. The company told us they will try and did not update us again. We are the only front liners never receiving the pay.

We needed help supervising a terminally ill loved one and providing relief support to family members. We chose this company because it was one of the few caregiving businesses that had accreditation from Accreditation Canada. The administration staff were prompt at responding via email/phone (we never met in person as the initial assessment is given by one of their nurses), and someone was always reachable 24/7. That being said, we unfortunately did not have a good experience with their caregivers. We had 3 different caregivers from the company and the main problems we had were tardiness and napping on the job on multiple occasions. The administration did take note of our feedback/concerns, but the experience made us question the overall reliability of the quality of care given, as well as how well the company oversaw/supervised the work of their caregivers. We ended the contract with Classic Care after the death of our loved one, but we still received an invoice for hours after the contract ended, and hours dated after our loved one’s passing. Perhaps there was a communication glitch within their team, but errors like these during times of bereavement are difficult in an already very difficult time.
