a	ape 413 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Poke Bowls at Hoke Poke are so fresh and nicely seasoned. Portions are generous. The crab meat salad is a must! Their mango slush is also the best in the city!

When I got there I placed my order and it took them 25 min. It's the slowest place ever! And the poke wasn't worth the wait at all. I had much better than this. My friend took one bite and put it aside and ordered a hamburger that got to our doorstep in 15 min.

K	Kev C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the Ohana Bowl and i can say it was very refreshing with the fresh quality salmon and light sauces. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something with less sauce. The other options looked amazing too but I didn’t want to have my bowl too saucy.

However, my order can be really good or really bad depending on the employee making my dish, as well as the flow of orders coming into the place. Yesterday, I ordered the Chefs Special and the male employee was quite attentive when I requested jalapeños on the side. They finished making my bowl at a very fast rate, which ultimately impressed me. Unfortunately, eating the bowl at home did not taste the same compared to other experiences because there was too much Chefs Special sauce/brown sauce. I’m not certain if the sauce was measured correctly before adding it to the bowl, yet attention to detail on that aspect can make or break the dish. I have ordered the same exact bowl without any problems before yet this is the first time I have encountered this issue. I’ve also noticed inconsistency which pertains to the complimentary items that each bowl can receive. Sometimes I receive a lot of seaweed salad and crab imitation, yet not consistently. I’m aware of the stress and constant flow within the food industry because I’ve worked both back of house and front of house. However, being meticulous with the measurement especially during a rush is critical. I’d rather wait 20 minutes, yet have my dish made right. As opposed to wait 5 minutes, yet have my dish made poorly. I’m hoping to see improvements within the near future!
R	Raymond Uy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did an on line order for 7 dishes and to our dismay when we went to pick up they told us that all our orders were cancelled because they do not have a lot of the toppings and ingredients. The girl at the counter said they emailed back saying order was cancelled. They should have called us to let us know of the cancellation. However they told us to reorder as the toppings and ingredients just arrived. Which we did and had to wait for about 20 minutes, to my surprise the girls preparing the food are not wearing hair net and with the hair length, every time their head turn. The hair are flying over the ingredients. Very unsanitary if you see it. I think the other 2 girls at the counter needs more training in food preparation. I overheard one customer complaining that every time he goes there, there are some ingredients that is out. On the good side, the food is yummy. It will be nice to see more organized staff working at the counter.

I've tried many of the other poke places in Richmond and as far as amount/variety of toppings, protein and flavour this place seems to be the best. The pricing is also very reasonable consider the volume of food compared to other poke places. The quality of the food and service is always consistent. A go to for me and my family.

The restaurant is clean and well kept and staff were super helpful and friendly. This place really exceeded my expectations and I would recommend to anybody looking for some good poke. I will be back!
