J	Joel McDonald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thunder Bay institution, the north side answer to the legendary McKellar confectionery. Everything is good, it it what it is. Coney sauce is a little less salty than McKellar, which is a blessing for the bacon and cheese kicker many order on their dogs and sliders. Visitors must have a coney dog to say they've actually been here!
L	Lucas Bibby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in expecting to order some lamb or a gyro or surely, at least a greek salad. Hahahah.. nope! i was disappointed to see no tradtional greek food on the menu. I instead ended up ordering a bacon double cheese burger and a baconator poutine. The bacon double cheese burger ended up as two (double) chili cheese burgers with bacon. The baconator was a monster sized poutine with real curds, good gravy and a substantial amount of bacon. I was not disappointed with the food or the service. Food was delicious and generous portions. Service was friendly and quick. All my disappointment stemmed from my own preconceived expectations. I totally recommend eating here, just go in with an open mind!

I've gone to every other restaurant that offers coney anything and it never fixes many craving. Not sure if this is still a menu item but their Italian sausages with the tomato sauce its slow cooked in put on a bun and then i personally add onions and parmesan cheese.... Its to die die

Our Update: we returned after owner reached out to us with a solution and we are glad that we did. Food was amazing and the pickle poutine was better than any I've tried in town yet! We had never had any issues with hodder greeks prior to this, but am very happy with the way things were handled. They made sure everything was perfect and both poutines were loaded. They definately showed us that they do care alot about their customers! Thank you
C	Chris Lemieux on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, I grew up as a kid to teenager eating here. I come home after 20 years and I expected a change of course. The fries: were damn good! Double burger with cheese and bacon: good!! Coney Dog: taste was good. ... .. but... the hot dog was no bigger then a small chewy pepperoni stick. Both of them were super small and chewy. I wouldnt reccomend them ever! The rest of the food was good !. Prices were respectable.

You should hit up Hodder Greeks, or as many Thunder Bay residents have come to call it Greasy Greeks, on account of the brown paper bag for the fries turning translucent from all the greasy goodness. This is a great spot for coney dogs, burgers, fries, poutine, Polish sausage or Italian sausage. This is not a gluten-free/vegan/vegetarian friendly place as I’m sure you have figured out by now. This is the spot for eating absolute pure garbage food, and I mean that in the most respectful way possible. The food served there is undoubtedly delicious. It’s just not considered a balanced and nutritious meal is all I’m getting at. However, everyone needs a treat from time to time, am I right? Help support this local business just as they do their part to help support Thunder Bay businesses. They have really cleaned the place up from the last time I saw it. The Poutinerie was a nice addition as well. There is also a few picnic tables outside, as this is not a sit down and dine establishment. I went with the classic poutine with cheese curds, not shredded cheese. Along with that masterpiece was the sloppiest of Coney burgers. They are as good as they are sloppy. Keep up the great work!
