★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have yet to return back for indoor dining but hockey sushi takeout has easily become a monthly staple for us over the past two years . Food is always fresh and and we have never had any order or quality issues , always packaged extremely well . The Maki platters are some of our favourite and are amazing value for the quality. Takeout orders are also prepared very quickly, typically by the time I finish placing the order and drive 10 minutes my food is already packaged and waiting for me . Easily the best sushi restaurant in the west end/ Kanata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came back for dinner service dine in in March 2022. Great service. Liked the delivery robot they use.
Favourite foods:
- salmon sashimi
- seaweed salad
-takoyaki octopus ball
- green dragon roll
The shrimp tempura was soggy a bit on the inside both orders I had.

But in July 2020 we came here for takeout. We got a sushi party platter and winter sashimi combo. Sushi was a little less than decent for some pieces. Sashimi platter was not good but edible. Would not order again. Maybe it’s because of COVID, but we probably won’t get takeout from here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and I ordered multiple types of Maki rolls. All of them were AMAZING. We ordered calamari, coconut shrimp, crystal dragon roll, Philadelphia roll, metaporlian roll, green dragon roll, spider roll, dynamite roll, and dynamite hand rolls. We also ordered chicken fried Udon. For dessert we got ice cream and mango pudding and it was AMAZING, so so tasty. We will definitely come more regularly. Amazing dine in, amazing service from Hao and Jay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for my birthday dinner and it was fantastic. We drived an 1 hour and 20 mins just to get ayce sushi as there is none in renfrew. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. No complaints. Will definitely come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was decent. Staff were friendly. If you go as a group your table HAS to eat Ala cart or all you can eat so plan ahead. They also had this little friendly skynet terminal with a smile face and cat ears that delivers your food so keep your comments about the robot uprising out of your conversation.5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've eaten here a few times many years ago and tried it out again today and it's better than what I remember! I love the electronic tablet ordering system and wish more places would have them. The new cat robot server is very cute although I was mostly served by the human servers than the former. The servers were friendly and attentive which is a big improvement from my past visits where I remember them being absent a lot so it was harder to flag them down for orders.
For food, I mostly ate salmon sashimi. The salmon tasted great and was just as good as any nice non-AYCE sushi place. I only had one roll but the sushi rice was good too. The shrimp tempura have really small shrimp in them but the coating was excellent and very crispy. I was also surprised at their takoyaki which also tasted good. Unfortunately, some items were sold out (I wanted to try their fried milk) but it was worth the price. Sometimes, my dishes would have a few less or more pieces than what I ordered but it wasn't a big deal.
With prices going up nowadays and with the sushi quality being comparable here to more upscale places (at least what I tried) I think it's more worth it to pay the AYCE price (+ tip) to eat a lot than a few a la carte orders which would run only $15 less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time there and it was a very good experience. Speedy and great overall experience. Food was better than most sushi spots that I've been to in the past. Highly recommend them. You won't regret it. Its pricey but the overall experience is truly worth it.
