I love this place, been coming here for tools for 2 years. Craig is so polite and accommodating, I drove from Toronto to support them during covid. Great service and selection. Price are very fair. I come for Hilti and dewalt mostly but there's plenty of others. Keep up the great work guys.

Lots a different stuff, a lil more pricey but have a good return policy

I searched everywhere for a discontinued item for a long time online and finally stumbled on one that was at this Hockshop in Oshawa. I couldn’t believe it, and the price was very reasonable. It looked to be in pretty mint condition in their ad online and even had a 30-day warranty included. I’m in BC, so I couldn’t go and physically check the item out. So I called and spoke to a very polite woman who answered all of my questions regarding the condition, shipping and payment. Reassured that this wasn’t some seedy shop, I ordered the item from them. I got confirmation and a receipt right away and a tracking number the very next day. A week later, the item is here, days ahead of Canada Post’s estimated delivery time and It arrived in even better condition than I had expected. Everything was well packaged. Dealing with this shop for an online order was a smooth, pleasant and positive experience. I would not hesitate to deal with them again or recommend them to anyone thinking of purchasing from them online. I have no doubt that a visit to any of their physical locations would likely give me an equally pleasant experience. Excellent experience all the way around! And the item is KILLER, works perfectly, and is rocking my world as I type this. Very happy customer here on the western coast! Thank you Hockshop Oshawa! You guys rock!

Ive never used a place like this before (to get a temp loan on belongings). Id only done it as a last resort and my sister had told me nothing but good things about them. So, I tried it out. To be fair i was worried, but had no reason to be with these people. They are all (who work here) very nice and so understanding, beyond patient and so curtious. Ive never lost an item to them yet(unless i actually wanted or chose to sell it to them) because as i mentioned patient, they waited for me ages after my "due" date for an item amd were still willing to work with me. Im glad i tried this business out as we as glad that they were so nice and willing to wait on me, i would truely recomend them to anyone for all their business offers. You would never be disappointed, unless you were the grumpy one.... LOVE these guys/girl ♥

My husband n I went in to put a amp on layaway cause we thought that the one we have was gone but thanks to Alex we found out that it wasn't gone... but we still put a amp on layaway for my husband... I would recommend the hock shop to my family n friends...

This place has been my go to for years, but I had to give a review because the staff are super amazing and very friendly, I had the utmost care and time given while I was there, and the Jewelry is top notch you get your bang for your buck. Was treated like a family member when I was there. Thanks a bunch

If you have financial challenges and need a loan, do not use this service. Initially when I put a ring on hold in return for a loan, I was told that if I could not pay the full amount after 30 days, I could come in and pay the initial $75.00 borrowing fee. At that time I would be given an additional 30 days and any additional amount paid would go towards the remaining principal. What they did not tell me initially or after, is that they would charge me a second borrowing fee of $63.75. When I returned to pick up my item after 60 days, I was surpised by the remaining balance as I had paid the initial fee and an additional amount to pay down the principal at the 30 day mark. When I asked if there was anything that could be done about this in terms of removing or at least reducing the second fee. The two men at the counter brought out the manager and seemed to get quite the enjoyment out of the managers equal unwillingness to be helpful in any capacity. I spoke politely and clearly while explaining the previous conversation to all parties and was more than reasonable in my request, nor did I take my frustration about the lack of clarity out on anyone else. They advised that I was paying a storage fee, not interest, for them to hold the item (again it was a ring) so by all accounts, the fee could have been removed, but they chose not to. Though, they did offer to extend the payment for another 30 days for -another- fee. How kind right? Lastly, when I asked to be shown my item prior to paying the final amount in full, I was told they wouldn't even go get my item until the payment cleared. Like I'm about to run out the door with it when all I wanted was a bit of help with the surprise charge. Think twice before taking a loan on any of your personal items. If you're in tight situation, you can count on this place to make it harder.
