★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great hair cut here. The staff are really friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is great in this place. The decor is old school with a lot of fun and funny retro items kicking around. The music is spot on for the atmosphere. Great experience, thank you. Will certainly back. Please note that this place is cash only as well, so make sure to grab some cash prior to going.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Googled barbers near me with no expectations. Have never been to a barbershop. Looked at a few websites, noticed Jody's pic from back in the day when I went to another hair salon. Decided to give it a shot. Damn glad I went here. Place was clean as hell. All staff were upbeat and fun. Very welcoming. For the covid people, everything was extremely safe. Jody out did himself. My wife wanted me to go with a "Peaky Blinders" look. I was skeptical about it as I've always had a clean cut look with some product. Jody went above and beyond what I expected. Dude was professional, took his time, gave me the works. Extremely knowledgeable. I had no idea there was so much to know about hair and styling. Best experience I've had with a hair cut by far. Not only hair cut, but at a customer service level, this dudes amazing. Worth ever penny.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was able to reserve a last minute appointment with them, the online booking is simple and easy. History Downtown Barrie has a great atmosphere and solid sense professionalism.
I would recommend them to anyone who asks and lastly a shout out to Dan who was my barber, he is very easy going and courteous, I am more then satisfied his work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While initially I thought the price was a bit steep, I have to say that the experience and haircut were well worth it. These people have a passion for their job and it was evident in their work. Not only was my haircut perfect, but the shave I got and beard trim was an experience on its own. I’d highly recommend the place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warren is the best barber in the city at the best barbershop in the city, even though he'd never accept such a compliment. Always a great atmosphere and consistently flawless cuts with attention to detail every time. I tried many barbers and many shops before History, haven't tried any others since.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing atmosphere and amazing cut. Jody was professional yet great to chat with. I’ve never experienced such a fine detailed cut, easily best haircut I’ve ever had! I was blown away with the finished product. Will 100% be returning here again.

when i got there everyone was extremely friendly, I told her she could cut my hair however she thought was best; she was extremely friendly and did an amazing job. one of the best I've ever gotten and I will definitely be back! friendly professional, 10/10
