★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t waste your time with any other hunting or fishing outfitter. I’ve been all over Canada, US and Europe. Gary and Maggie offer a 10 star experience. By far one of the best trips I’ve experienced. Gary has been doing this for 30+ years and you can tell. All his hunting spots were well cared for, stands in excellent shape and made sure to put you in the best spot for a successful hunt. He really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a successful hunting experience. All his spots are properly baited, checked daily and re-baited. He follows up daily to see which spots were hit or not, I’ve had several other guides who do not put in half the amount of effort Gary does and you can tell. He also takes great pride in skinning the animal.
What makes the experience 10 stars instead of 5, is the atmosphere. Gary and his wife Maggie really treat you like family. I was going to save a few bucks and cook my own meals, but I’m glad I didn’t. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious. Just look at the photos, I felt like eating at a 5 star restaurant. Save yourself snacks and turkey sandwiches, pay the extra couple bucks, you will not regret it.
And at the end of a long day of fishing or hunting, sit down with Gary have a beer and a great conversation.
You won’t regret your trip to Hillsport Hilton!
