Highland Country Club

We had our wedding at Highland last month and I couldn’t be HAPPIER with that decision. From our first tour with Krista (she’s absolutely amazing and hilarious), we were instantly in love with the venue and could tell that we would be in great hands. Communication with the venue throughout the wedding planning process was impressive - Karen and Krista responded so quickly and thouroughly answered all the questions I had (there were a lot, lol). We had a big wedding but everything was handled flawlessly. The food was incredible. Even our most hard to impress guests are still raving about the excellent dinner. The set up was gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier with the way everything looked. I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to Wade, who somehow magically completely removed a massive red wine stain from my wedding dress before our reception. I seriously can’t thank him enough for salvaging my dream dress. That alone, makes me give Highland 5 stars. From start to finish, the staff at Highland exceeded all our expectations and hosted the wedding of our dreams and I couldn’t be more thankful.

The service is great and the prices are reasonable for group events. The good selection and quality is very good as well. They have a beautiful gold course nestled in South London. They also have a curling rink. Great for weddings, corporate events, small office events, association meetings, etc etc. I highly recommend this venue.

Beautiful surroundings near the club house

Went there for a conference. The building and the grounds were beautiful. The room we were in was very nice and the staff were very attentive and unobtrusive. Our lunch was a but of a disappointment but i think it's mostly to blame on the conference organisers for not ordering us a better lunch. Would go there again for a conference and bring a lunch just in case

The absolute best place to hold a wedding!! We had about 100 guests at our wedding on May 25, 2019 and everything was perfect! The staff and servers are so friendly and they do their job so well that you don't even notice when things are done. Dance floor was perfect size.. there's countless options to get amazing photos outside and inside. All my guests were raving about our venue and how gorgeous it was. We could not have picked a better place. And the food ... SO good! Late night Poutine bar was by far the best choice I ever made. Thank you again Karen, Wade & Krysta you guys are so great at what you do and made the whole process stress free

A private club but not snobby. It's a shame the General Manager and Board has not done a better job maintaining the facilities and instead is intent on getting rid of the best curling rink in the area.

We had our wedding of 125 guests at Highland Country Club in June 2018. Karen the Food and Beverage Manager, Wade and all the staff were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. They helped make our day relaxing and very memorable. Karen was easy to work with, was quick to answer all our questions and made sure that all our big day was exactly what we wanted. The club is centrally located in London only about 10 minutes from a number of hotels and the 401/402. They also offered free overnight parking at the venue. We had our ceremony on the outside covered patio (which seats 120), which is a beautiful spot overlooking the golf course. The food during our cocktail hour was very appetizing and the service was great. We had a plated dinner (Prime Rib, Stuffed Chicken and a Quinoa Filled Zucchini) that were all delicious and left our guests very satisfied. The dance floor area was a perfect size after moving a few tables after dinner. We really enjoyed having the bar in the same room as the dancefloor as it kept all guests together to socialize and party until 2AM (this was a bonus for us as we found that many other venues closed earlier than this). The only issue we had was 5 months prior to our wedding, when Highland tried to increase the cost of food. At this time, they said that because our event was in the following year that new pricing would be applied. The venue was aware of our wedding date when we put down our deposit to reserve our day and they provided us with pricing at that time. During our meetings and emails it was never mentioned that these were subject to change. Highland ended up eventually honouring the original pricing, but it was definitely a frustrating ordeal. We had lunch there several times during our monthly meetings. Well, the service is pretty good, but they are okay to bring you a dirty glass or a plate with hair on it. Regarding food - the cheapest place in the area serves more delicious food than the place. More importantly, they do not accept American Express for some reason.
