E	Eve Chavez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sad to say but emergency section is worse than I thought. Going in there must be you are under 50/50 life situation. They should've given a heads up informing the least emergency to just come back after 4 hrs coz we won't be able to check on you before then. Laboratory on the other hand was excellent. Please hire more doctors for ER.
K	Ken Vickers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for day surgery yesterday. Melissa and Maryjeane did an awesome job looking after me before and after surgery. They made a somewhat stressful situation way more relaxing. The OR people were also great. Unfortunately I don't recall all of their names. Dr. Sutherland and the Anesthesiologist, whose name I can't remember explained to me in detail about what their procedure was going to be before and during surgery. Also what to expect symptoms to be like afterwards. They were busy in OR as I Wasn't the Only Person they were looking after. Very professional and compasionate. THANKS TO YOU ALL.
C	Cress Wells on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing staff. Went in due to being really ill and was seen immediately. They ran a lot of tests to ensure I was alright before letting me go. I was also encouraged to come back if I felt I needed to for any reason when I have been told by other hospitals in the past that i’m fine and to go home when seriously ill. They took me seriously, addressed concerns, and were beyond helpful.
r	robert preece on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for day surgery and the staff was wonderful. I am terrified of needles and when I had my iv put in the nurses were so kind and really went above and beyond to help me get through it. You’re in good hands here.
T	The Nameless on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst emerg experience I've ever had. It was a Monday morning (only one person before me), I was in the worst pain I've ever experienced and went there for pain management. Got there at 9am, didn't get a room until 11am. The nurse finally wheeled me into the room and asked me to get on the bed. I said "I'll give it my best shot" (I couldn't walk) and she condescendingly said "well the doctor can't treat you in a wheel chair so let's go". Even once I was in, it took the doc another 1.5 hours to visit my room. 4 hours in and I hadn't even been treated yet. I finally got IV pain meds. They then kept me there for another 4 hours (I was expecting some tests) only for the doc to say "we can't do much except give you pain med prescription" and then sent me home. I will NEVER go to this hospital voluntarily again.
S	S B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience in the maternity and the labour and delivery units have been nothing but extraordinary! My favorite place. Jackie is the best! However the negative rating comes from their emergency department. Back in august I had an issue I had to go to emergency. I got there at 8am. And still hadn’t been seen by 12pm. I thought it was strange when people who came after me were already seen and leaving after being treated. So I asked the nurse about it. She said “you don’t get special treatment just cause you’re in a lot of pain. You can sit in the waiting room like everyone else and I’ll let you know when I feel we have time for you.” Same thing at 3pm. I ended up walking out around 5:15pm Because I had to go get my children and I wasn’t being seen anytime soon. The next day I went to south health in Calgary and was immediately brought into surgery within 25 minutes of getting there due to an ectopic pregnancy bursting and it could’ve been less serious the day before had high river taken me seriously…. But if you’re bleeding heavily, in a lot of pain. I highly suggest literally any other hospital..
R	Rachael Dawn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my surgery Jan 27, 2022 and the staff were spectacular. Absolutely spectacular. Nan (Ellen) specifically, the nursing staff, and the surgery staff there (12:00-17:00) were so so amazing. Every step of the way, they were there for me. Every time I got emotional, and every time I needed someone, they were there. I cannot express how much I appreciate them. I really hope they get to see this.
E	Etienne Lurol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The delivery unit and team at High River hospital was phenomenal. Thank you Dr. Lee, Elisa, Allison, Arlin, Shannon, Kirsty, Robyn, and the entire staff at HRGH. Our little girl Lucie was brought into this world with such happiness thanks to the High River Hospital Team. Thank you to the hospital auxiliary for the beautiful hand-made blanket and toque. The room was large, private and beautiful. Simply phenomenal!
