My wife and I ended up here by fluke as the Campground we were staying at was crammed full of screaming kids directly next to us, so we left. We had a excellent time here the owners were absolutely fantastic Jeanie and Ed are wonderful people. If you are looking for a quiet place to camp that is not too far away from amenities this is it. And we also had a great fire pit next to the river. Thanks a bunch

I went here to visit my parents while they were camping. My partner and I had brought our small dog (on a leash) and when we checked in at the office, we were told that they didn't like dogs visiting in the park and dog were not allowed to "do their business" in the RV park (there was nothing about this written on their website). I thought that was odd, but we continued on. While we were visiting, the site my parents were in was in full sun around 3pm, so we grabbed our chairs and moved a few feet over into the campsite next to us where there was some shade (nobody else was camped there or nearby). The male owner came by on a golf cart and asked what we were doing, and we explained that we were just trying to find some shade. The rest of the conversation and how we were spoken to was extremely unprofessional. We were told that we needed to get back to our own site, and that "This isn't a drop-in dog park." Keep in mind that my dog and my parents dog were both on leashes and sitting quietly in front of us as we chatted. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years, and this is not the way you talk to customers. If the site was to be rented, simply asking us to move nicely would have been sufficient, but there was nobody waiting to go into that spot. This man was simply rude and unprofessional, and I will never recommend anyone to stay there.

We stayed there for three nights at end of the season. Our observations: - all goodwill evaporated within 5 min of checkin; - dogs are not welcome, completely restricted ( just prohibit them?); - garbage bin remained locked for duration; - most other campsites had open showers and washrooms but not these guys; - although 2/3rds empty, 3 attempts to negotiate a better spot were abruptly denied; - could not β€œback in” to a spot, no valid reason given; - immovable fire pits oddly placed; - at $38 per night is expensive; - but is a beautiful spot by the river; - easy walk into town; - consensus among 6 of us was owners should not be in service/hospitality industry; - recommend you avoid this if able; - camping available in town, albeit without services, fire pits.

This place was awesome! Made us feel like family. Quick check in and Ed even backed ya right in! The showers were super clean and really cute with little extras added in everywhere. We stopped at the antique shop on our way out as well and grabbed a couple items. Something there for everyone! Well treed perfect sized spots. Great job guys!!

Really nice RV park, the owners Ed and Jeanne are really nice and helpful people. They often do live music just for pleasure. Really good musicians. And if you like antiques, Jeanne's Country Treasure store is really nice. I had a lovely time. Thank you.

Jeanne and Ed were amazing hosts to our family over the long weekend, great site with plenty of privacy , power and water hookups. My wife really enjoyed the antique shop that they have . The store has ice and ice cream and snacks of all kinds and they're always making sure everyone has everything they need to have a great camping trip. We've already booked another weekend and can't wait to get back ! Thanks for having us and for keeping such a great family friendly park!

Lovely little campground beside Rosebud town. Friendly owners helped back us into our spot and checked on us a few times a day to see if we were ok in the +37 heat. Ice and ice cream available at the store. The trailer dump is beside the grain elevator in town. Good power and water hook up. Sad that the golf course closed.

Highly Recommend! We've camped at High Eagle RV Park at least twice a year since we bought our trailer in 2018. Owners Ed and Jeanne helped us with our first time ever backing up and staying in our trailer. They are great hosts and we look forward to seeing them and starting each season camping there.
