★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I placed an order with the Hi-Fi Centre for a pair of wireless ear buds that were listed on sale on their web site. The next day I received a message from the Hi-Fi Centre canceling my order because there was an error on their web site and they said the item was not in stock. It was a frustrating transaction, as the Hi-Fi Centre did not indicate any willingness to honour the price, or offer an alternative. Very disappointed with the blunt customer service, particularly as I prefer to support local businesses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not a big fan of shopping for anything, even things I like owning. Also not a big fan of dealing with most sales people.
Igor at Hi-Fi Centre really blew me away. I approached Hi-Fi center looking at one particular set of products for my Home Theatre.
He helped me choose a different system, that i'm much happier with, and it actually ended up being cheaper then what I wanted in the first place.
He also happily answered all of my many asinine questions, even after the sale had already been completed.
If I ever need any more audio equipment, Hi-Fi Centre will be the first place I look.

By far the highest recommended shop in the city, I've visited 5 now and this is the only one I will go back to. Raymond, I will be back and we will have some fun choosing something for me to enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience dealing with my purchase at Hifi Center. I bought a HTM6 S2 Bowers & Wilkins center speaker and picked it up next day. When I got it home and opened up the packaging I noticed there was some minor cosmetic damage. I contacted Igor at Hifi Center and he replied right away and offered store credit or a replacement. I decided to go with a replacement and after a couple of weeks he contacted me to let me know it was in. Because I live a fair distance from the store it was difficult for me to come by, so Igor offered to deliver the speaker to my house. Within a few days it was hand delivered to my door. Amazing customer service and a real pleasure to deal with. The store is also great and definitely worth checking out if your looking for great audio products or advice, 100% worth checking out. I'll definitely be returning for my next purchase.

I was purchasing my 1st high end sound system and Turntable. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. He was patient and friendly with me, he had answered all my questions and was able to point me in the best direction for my desired system to suit my needs. He recommended me a a specific Receiver that he felt was perfect for my needs and was also on sale. We have been in constant contact for the past 6 months with updates and support on my order. They helped set up my Turntable before shipping it out to make it easier for myself, and they were flexible with deposits and payment plans with me. Will definitely do business with then again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over the course of the last few years I have been upgrading my stereo system when ever finances allowed. The finishing touch (if there is such a thing with a stereo system) was a new set of Totem speakers purchased in the spring of last year. Originally I had set my mind on a different make, but thanks to expert advice from Yuri I choose the Totem. Perfect for my setup and the sound gets better every time I put on a record, far exceeding any expectation I might have had. In my opinion the service I received was excellent and respectful and I will always return when time comes to tweak the system. I should mention that the components I bought were in the 4 figure range.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a used Bowers and Wilkins Formation Wedge. Fully purchased online with product unseen. I originally wanted two of these and was getting an incredible deal from them. Unfortunately there was an inventory issue so I only ended up getting one but honestly, it didn't even matter. Igor's communication was prompt and I was always updated with the purchase. I understand issues come up but the important part of a quality store who cares is that they fix the issue and with humility. From my interactions, Igor has been a complete professional. The product came in 3 days which is incredible going from BC to Alberta. The product was described as 'lightly used' but I would disagree and say it was MINT condition. Came in original box with packaging even with the useless B&W product pamphlet and not even a single fingerprint! I'm more than happy with my purchase as it's sometimes a risk ordering online but this store made it seamless. I would 100% order from them again. Thanks Igor!
