★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite disappointed with my service at Hertz. Started off well and serviced us the vehicle quickly. However when we looked at the vehicle before we rented we did a walk through of marks on the vehicle. They said not to notice or write down anything a loonie would not fit into. My husband had even said different areas but they said don’t worry it’s not larger than a loonie.
We returned it on Sunday. They are not open on sundays so it sat in the lot until Monday morning. Then I got a call saying there was damages Monday morning. We kept the vehicle in good condition. We took pictures after and were confused where they were coming from. The damages we saw were ones that were there when we got the vehicle. We never did anything to the car. When asked further they said we will be sending you an invoice for the damages. We asked what they were and how could we know that they weren’t from them. Because the vehicle had been clearly moved from our pictures to the ones they sent us.
I asked when we would see said invoice and they said not for 30-60 days.
I’m frustrated with this whole process. I feel as if they blamed us without really thinking of other options. I’m more upset that I didn’t take photos before hand.
