★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve taken Jaime’s boxing classes online, outdoors, and at her old gym — and no matter where they are, they’re awesome! One of my favourite things about the classes is how accessible they are. I am very very new to boxing and only pop on intermittently, but she makes sure her classes are fun, accommodating to all levels — and that they kick your butt! I’m so happy for the Hero team and their new permanent home in north van!

The classes never get stale as he introduces new workouts every day. All of these things have kept me consistent and really made me love the gym. Highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I took our first muay thai class with coach Emma she was amazing! she was very knowledgeable and clear in her instruction and was super fun! we covered lots of techniques but not to the point where people would be overwhelmed. highly recommend for muay thai in north vancouver!

( one of the Hero Athletics owners ) since I decided to adopt an active life style; his strength & conditioning classes are challenging but he's always open to adapt it for any level of fitness
He also helped me to fully recover from a knee injure creating an specific exercise program ( it sounds easy but no everyone's gets a full recover , so I'm pretty grateful )
Through the years I also been training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu with him ( private sessions & classes )
He helped me to understand / breakdown techniques or complex concepts related with the sport but also to develop confidence and mental strength ( that's a key factor in any martial Arts discipline; but extra necessary as a woman in a sport mainly practice by males )
He's always empowering, displaying a great attitude but the most important fact :
For him this is not just a job
Is his passion
So training with him is always a great experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing gym and incredible people! Meego has custom made me a plan that allows me to do boxing and kickboxing with a spinal cord injury. He constantly pushes me but always makes sure that I am not in pain. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would! Do yourself a favour and go to this gym. You won’t regret it!

Always a great workout that’s varied, interesting and suitable for all levels with a high level of attention and guidance on proper form and movement. The Hero Athletics community has been friendly and welcoming from Day 1. I’m eager to continue training with them as they move into their new permanent North Van location.
