I totally recommend the experience. If you are dating, having friends, or just want to have a wonderful time. Go for it; you won't regret it
M	Michelle Carganilla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attended Saturday's Ashley Trio benefit concert and we did enjoy good music. However, there's no buffet which we were looking forward to. When we booked our concert ticket, we also reserved for the buffet. We asked the receptionist at the door about the buffet and she said when they serve it will be near the stage. They were supposed to serve at 5:30 pm and it was 6:30 pm already and no one informed us that it will not be served that night and there's no advisory in the website as well. No one seems to know the reason why the buffet was not served. We just ordered food from the bar and the lady who served us informed that they don't have the beef from the menu and only the burgers were available. When the bill came, there were miscalculations though it was corrected. To be better prepared with dinner options, I recommend calling them to inquire and don't rely on their website only or better yet have dinner in your fave restaurant before going to the concert.
E	Eva Pea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at Herman's upstairs. Lookef forward to the Steely Dan cover band.We had a very good time here it was clean and organized. There was excellent bar service. We had great seats arriving 20 minutes before the show started. It was the first time we've been out to a club but dancing in the last 2 years. People on the dance floor wore masks. Access to the washroom is ideal. I'm not an expert I think the sound was a little bit of a challenge and it would have been great if the band dressed up a little bit bringing more pizzazz to the show.
C	CeeJohanna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you Hermann’s— for just about everything. We were over the moon last night to be able to see The Beautiful Maladies perform once again. Granted, we were a bit dubious about the upstairs venue, but it turned out to be just great. We did have to move to get out of the glaring pot lights on the top tier (you guys! fix that!), but luckily (given that the venue was almost completely full), we were able to move down to free seats just below. Of course, we’d prefer to hear the Maladies downstairs in the cozier and more intimate space, but we get that they deserve (and can draw) a bigger audience. The sound was a bit muddy; hard to make out the amazing lyrics of Tom Waits, but still, a very happy experience, and, having scoped out the lay of the land, we’ll be back. But, please, please, serve some bubbles. The hard, flat chard is okay, not a deal breaker, but hard to look forward to an evening without bubbles. Unless, of course, The Maladies.

The only problem we had was our reservation, we had booked and prepaid for our spot online but when we arrived there was no record of the booking, this was made worse by students and their families that had most of the seating before the regular show. In the end it all worked out ok and we enjoyed the overall night out.

It had a delicious caper sauce, along with fresh baby potatoes, cauliflower and a small arugula salad. The service was impeccable even though it was busy and the band was very entertaining. Go.support live music and your local venues!
D	Deryck Harry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the great pleasure of being invited to attend Hermann's Jazz Club by friends and it was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The staff were very accommodating and diligent. The prices were exceptionally good. I had the burger with fries and it tasted far better than the burger places in town. The cheesecake was rich and had just the right amount of sweetness. The charcuterie board was excellent and a bargain for the price. It was the entertainment that really shines through. The music was phenomenal and I couldn't help but get into the spirit of it all. I've never considered myself a jazz person, but this evening has made me rethink my position! The whole evening was special. After the show, the musicians hung about and interacted with the crowd. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend the location. Make sure to book well in advance and grab your seats early!
