★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a Fuel Distributor for my 1985 VW Cabriolet , which they shipped to PEI. Sadly when installed it wasn't working and I shipped it back for a refund. I got a complete refund plus tax, except for the cost of shipping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst auto parts store experience ever.
I haven't bought anything, but the way they treat customers is unacceptable.
Considering it's an auto part recycling business, one would expect to be able to see first hand the part before buying it.
No with them, you have to make a down payment in order to see the part since they need to remove it from the car first.
But this isn't the worst part, if you happen to live very far, like me in Montreal which is about 40 minutes of commute, don't expect to be able to get the part once you get there.
In my case, they told me to make a down payment then come back tomorrow to get it and regardless of whether I am satisfied with the part's condition or not, they won't refund the down payment if in their definition, the part is in "good" shape. It's their word against mine.
Apparently, they are the experts, we, as a customer have no right to evaluate and choose a part whatsoever.
Now I really don't understand that kind of policy, even when you're buying brand new parts from dealers, they let you see that part before paying, and you don't pay a dime even if they shipped it all the way from other provinces. Even other scrap yards and recyclers let you see that part first hand. Others may comply with their policy, I do not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the worst service i have ever gotten, if i could give 0 stars i would. To enter into somebody’s house and confuse an elderly women into thinking she has been robbed is completely disrespectful and a violation of our privacy, especially when we precisely said that we would drop off the keys at the shop because we were not simply going to leave our vehicle unlocked with the keys in the glove compartment, and to top it all off when we called to say we were displeased they laughed and hung up on us. I have a lack of words for what happened today, i am simply shocked at how utterly terrible their service and attitudes are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Single handedly the worst experience of dealing with a parts dealer, for a variety of reasons.
1)I live 3.5 hours away
2) i sent them the exact amount of money they wanted for the box of a dodge Dakota.
3) They praised it's condition and made it sound like a holt grail find with one hole in it
5) most importantly they removed the box from the truck, were able to see all it's faults and didn't once bring it to my attention.
The only words I can use to describe this is fraud and robbery. Just go to Kenny u pull atleast you get your hands on it yourself and you'll pay half if not a quarter of the price.
Update: I recieved a full refund for the box, I did have to make the trip again to return it but overall they were co-operative and didn't try to hassle me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid top dollar for a used diesel engine because it's a harder model to find and they offered a warranty. Mechanic took longer than expected to install and once it was it, found it already smokes badly. Warranty apparently doesn't cover the fact pistons are already close to shot.
