D	Dan M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been a diagnosed Celiac for a couple of decades, and finding Heathen’s was a true pleasure. At my first visit, I had the first “flight” ever; that wasn’t a thing back in the day. I worked my way through from lightest to darkest, and when I got to the Peanut Butter Stout, I knew that I hit the big jackpot. Prior to going completely gluten-free, I was drinking the darker beers and this amazing beer brought a tear to my eye ... I had no idea that I would be able to have an amazing beer like this ever again. I’ve been back a few times since, and have also had their product in restaurants and do pick ups at a couple of craft beer stores in Calgary. I found the Stout Chocolate Coffee at one of those stores, and it’s also delicious. I see a couple of new ones on the heathensbrewingshop.square.site website, and looking forward to trying those too. They are a local Alberta company (NorthEast Calgary), their staff are awesomely friendly, and they make a product that even the non-Celiacs in my life find to be amazing. When a gluten-free beer hits the market that a non-Celiac finds to be delicious, you know that the product is top-notch. I wish continued success for this local company! Their “Contact” page on the website has a list of locations where their product is available, other than their brewery. BONUS: pouring one of their beers into a frosty mug gives a great head, and it’s a thing of beauty. Go get some, give it a try. You won’t regret it.

The sour lagers are phenomenal. They have friendly and incredibly knowledgeable staff, and supporting a family business makes it even better. 10/10!

Their average of good-tasting beers is very high (at most places I only enjoy about 20% of the beers, or so.) All of their beers are also gluten-free, which is a nice feature for many people. The staff is very friendly and they have a good selection of board games available. We'll be back, for sure.

We really believe in supporting local businesses. So we tasted a few of their different beers. The Cherry Sour is delicious! I now enjoy drinking beer. They also have great customer service. I was having issues ordering online and they communicated with me and went above and beyond to help me get the order.

The staff are super friendly and are offering a great product. The current location has all of the character and charm of a startup business. There is a lot of head room in this company’s future.

I'm not gluten intolerant but after going to this brewery I will definitely go for less gluten in my life! You feel so light and good!
