C	Cuiyin Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience! Very patient and detailed. The doctor is very nice and professional. But when I arrived I found that they changed the clinic name to peel public health or something... I had to make a call to find the right place.
D	Dc Doll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They need more doctors or NPs. I used to come here 2 years ago, and they were always able to accommodate people. I come in at 3pm, and they're already at max capacity. This place is supposed to be accessible by the public, yet it's not even capable of taking in new patients 3.5 hrs. before they close and 1.5 hrs after they open.
C	Chantel “AnimalGal” on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in today and asked about plan b. The receptionist told me that today they are only taking appointments and that she would try to squeeze me in. She did. I sat down with the nurse, she was very informative and friendly. We decided to get an IUD. So I met with the doctor and got it done same day. Everyone was very professional, friendly, and my experience was awesome. I do have cramping, but that is normal and not caused by anything done by the doctor.

It was never mentioned during my phone consultation that the practitioners here are unable to do PAP tests or examinations. After describing my symptoms, the practitioner asked me if I was due for a PAP test. I took this to mean one would be done as part of the diagnostic process. She failed to mention that the clinic was not performing them. My appointment was a week away and as I was concerned that I have had heavy bleeding for 3 weeks now, I got a lab requisition and tests done to rule out other causes prior to my health clinic appointment (I did not see a physician). When I arrived at the clinic explaining this and that I would like to take next steps to deduce the cause of my symptoms, the staff member was extremely rude and said, “well then why are you here?”. If you are unable to perform exams, this should be explicitly stated to the patient during the phone consultation. If it was overlooked, honest mistake. But the gall of the staff member giving me attitude for coming to a WOMEN’S HEALTH CLINIC expecting a PAP test or some form of diagnostic examination was unwarranted and offensive. She told me to try back in 4 weeks. It did not seem like sound advice to tell a patient who has been bleeding for 3 weeks to return in another 4. I am a healthcare professional myself and would never dismiss a patient’s concerns or encourage my staff to do so.
E	Ess on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They say to call to make and appointment or to call and see if the clinic is full; however, no one answers the phone. Their phone is always set to ‘we are with other clients’ and directs you to call back later. How are you supposed to make appointments or see if the clinic is full if you don’t have someone answering the phones? Also their clinic is open until 6:30 but they constantly say they are booked for the day for drop in’s right after opening at 1. How can you know that you have no more room for drop ins when you close in over 6 hours w/ only a few people in the waiting room ? They really need someone dedicated to the phones to help people, seems like they just want to avoid having more clients by having their phone set to this automated message all the time.

I've had different receptionists tell me contradicting things regarding appointments and wait times. I don't know who to believe. I came here at 4:30pm once, they told me they weren't taking in any patients despite an EMPTY waiting room. I've been to this clinic at 1pm on the dot and I still had to wait forever with only two other patients in the waiting room. Ridiculous!
J	Jordon White on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairview Clinic: again the description meaning that only pre determined emergency cases are met first, since I know my case is serious and was told so by a nurse. I find it very funny when administrators of the clinic refuse to allow you in and then rebook your appointment because of symptoms that “PERSONALLY” make them uncomfortable. I’ve been tested for covid and was deemed clean. But it’s very pathetic when young adults have to go through mental stress because past generations have a issue with how things are handled. And legal action can be brought against those if my health is affected by the delay and being declined treatment. Really should hire new people especially those who actually want to help others not sit behind a desk and complain. :)
A	Aisha Noor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I attended a prenatal class here, and after delivery I had a session with a nurse who was also a lactation specialist. I see all the comments about the location being short staffed, or long waits...guys, take it up with Doug Ford. He's cut funding so drastically that facilities like this are on life support. Services keep getting cut from every angle. I appreciate the prenatal class and the nurse who did a wonderful job with all of the couples there, and her patience with so many first time parents. I was hesitant at first, to go in for a lactation consultation three days after delivery (even though they do home visits!!!), but I'm so glad I did. Yes, I had to wait for about 45 min alone in the waiting room with my newborn. But I learned so much in my visit when I was finally seen, and she was so kind and patient and understanding and frankly was so supportive that I almost cried. I wasn't in a state lift anything heavy, so the receptionist was happy to carry my baby in his carrier to the consultation room Thank you to the staff for all their support. On both visits, the experience was exceptional. @ those wondering "what happened?" - Doug Ford is what happened. The centre is doing great with what little resources they have left.
