★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a parent of a child with an eating disorder, having knowledgeable counselling from therapeutic clinicians is imperative. From the first conversation with Healthy Essentials Clinic, we knew that we would be receiving this invaluable guidance. My daughter had an ED for 13 years before coming to HEC. She is now well. HEC is a strong advocate of family based therapy which has been very helpful in our situation. Staff at HEC have many years of education, numerous years of experience and are well respected amongst their peers. HEC has given my family the tools needed to manage this complex disorder.

She has helped us develop coping skills and guided us through significant diagnoses and crises over the past few years, both as a family and individually, and we, quite simply, couldn't manage without her wisdom, immense knowledge, kindness and compassion. She is an incredible asset to her field and to the Okanagan. The multidisciplinary approach adopted in the Healthy Essentials Clinic has also benefited us immensely. Professionals, working incredibly well together, make it one-stop-shopping, and we couldn't be more impressed with the service they all provide. This is 21st century health care at its best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are truly incredible and life changing. Since starting there I have accomplished more for my mental and physical health in 9 months than I have in the last 5 years of counciling. The work they do there is transformative! I have had chronic depression as long as I can remember and in 5 months it was just gone! I never thought this could be possible for me, I thought this was just something I would have to live with for the rest of my life, I have never been so happy to be proven wrong! Trust them, trust their system, it works!

Christina's wise counsel and exceptional background have helped our family make progress in our journey from disorder on many levels to health, order, peace and grace in our home. As a husband and father I am deeply grateful. If I could give a higher-than-5 star-rating it would certainly be warranted!!

She helped me to build a foundation and to question my values which gave me clarity. She helped to guide me in the right direction towards becoming the person who I'm meant to be. I had a very positive experience working with her.
