Dr. Tainsh is very kind and patient, she's been helping me with pain management, her staff are courteous and always helpful.

4 months to make an appointment ?

Service is not good along with not being caring of patients in emergency situations. Very neglecting along with saying personal opinions on matters out side there specific degree. Highly recommended to go any place else to find a trusting, trustworthy and loyal doctor who is there to help one and not profit!

The first appt I waited about 20 min, the second I waited an hr and 15 min ,the third I waited 45 min. I decided to ask Dr. Raya if this was a common occurrence,as im a new patient and did not know! I immediately received a rude glare, followed by a snide remark of" this is the type of care I provide for my patients , then continue to disclose private ,confidential information about her last patient and what was happening . I proceeded to tell her that was not what I asked ! And asked my question again .Dr . Raya than became very short and irritated . I then asked her if I showed up 30 minutes late for my appointment but I still have my spot ? She began to tell me that we are not on the same page and that after my results she we be terminating are patient doctor relationship . I told her that was fine shortly after I said those few words she made such a snide comment that I laughed awkwardly and said thank you ! She does then apologized for her snide comment and continued to read me my results as she did so she neglected to tell me all the facts. I have never encountered such horrible bedside manner ,I left the doctors office feeling so horrible and distraught .Hearing my results and not understanding them, I actually went to the pharmacist next door who was more than happy to break it all apart for me and kindly explain and give me some relief !!!! I just wanted to say thank you so much for the horrible experience! Perhaps you should have been a lawyer ,then that way it doesn't matter if you leave people feeling like s***

I had to goggle the problem as Dr Sweigers didn’t seem interested in it or didn’t believe me. Thanks to her horrible care and recorded keeping, my arm is probably now a chronic condition. Rude and arrogant seems to describe her best.

I was here the first time with Dr. Raya who was fantastic. Super knowledgeable and very friendly. I moved back to Calgary for a year, and now that I am back, I went back to Health Matters. I'm with Dr.Tainsh now who seems very kind, she is soft spoken, but seems very knowledgable. The receptionists are always courteous and very helpful.

Dr. Gloria Tainsh and the healthcare team are surpassing my expectations. My last Dr. Just kept giving me meds upon meds. This team are trying really hard to give me the confidence I need to make life changes. I have really enjoyed my visits. She goes the extra mile to get the proper results! I feel like she cares and really wants to see me healthy. She doesn't candy coat it but rather she explains thoroughly your best options. You would be smart to choose her if you can get in to see her.

Not sure where else to put my review although, Dr. Swiegers before her own practise worked in this clinic prior and I was a patient back then, and still am! Dr. Swiegers to me has been a gift from God. I had certain fears and anxiety over things and Dr. Swiegers not only helped in treating the medical issues but the anxiety that went along with it. She even took the time (unpaid) to come in to surgery with me on her day off! As for my experience at Health Matters; I found the staff to be very polite and accommodating. I was advised of the wait time the first few times coming in until they knew I was used to it. Yes there was quite a wait, often easily a couple hours but after my first couple visits I understood why. Dr. Swiegers takes extra time with each patient where I have found doctors from other clinics often don't and seem more in a hurry to get you through. I had to see a different doctor one time during walk in there and found the other doctor to be just as helpful and again, takes the time. Thank you to the team at Health Matters, and of course Dr. Swiegers!
