I made a mistake and ordered sushi for pickup in their McKenzie location although I live downtown. The owner, chef and server were sooo understanding and made me my order regardless, no questions asked! I am touched! Thank you Haru!

Staff are awesome and were quite attentive. Really no complaints at all. We walked for lunch from the office. However parking would be a bit of a challenge around here if you're driving in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this place is just down the street from my office so it is every couple weeks I go there if not every week I go there for sashimi. the sushi is always really good and services is good as well.
The fish tastes fresh and I honestly have no complaints about it. It's not a fancy sushi place where you're going to pay $29 for a bowl, it's actually pretty fairly priced for sushi. they also have lunch specials if you're looking to have a pretty big lunch for around 15 bucks. Would recommend for a place to get a quick bite

We did not have enough sushi rice to serve you tonight because we opened our restaurant not even a week ago after 5 months of closing, and we weren’t expecting it to be really busy at all. Next time you visit us we will be ready to serve you as best as we can, thank you.
@Nimo Kali. You asked for the extra mayo for the rolls... I am not sure what the complaint is, if you wanted just a bit extra you should mention it when ordering, because we charge $1 per extra sauce we do have to give a bit more than just a drop more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The philly roll astronomically underwhelming. For $14 dollars you get an 8 piece roll that is a distant cousin of a normal Philadelphia roll (ie. cucumber, avocado, cream cheese, salmon)
This roll had some kind of dill sauce, no avocado or cucumber, but has mango and pineapple. In other words, not a Philadelphia roll.
Over priced and not on point.
Won’t return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With the mixed reviews, and myself I am no sushi expert but I really enjoyed the food.
The main thing was that everything was very very fresh, even though we came on a Sunday at 5pm and were the first people in the place.
The roles were good, pineapple and orange in a roll? Who would of thought but it was good.
I will definitely come back. The service was also good and no issues.
