If i could post no stars, I would I was supposed to move into a property of theirs in Edmonton, but upon move in day the apartment was entirely unsafe! Mould, destroyed walls, outlets out of the walls, and yet it was 'move in ready'. They were told they had to return my DD and first months rent, its been a month and I haven't received it and they won't return my calls either. They're a horrible company and I would advise against anyone renting with them.

I moved into a Mainstreet Equity Corp Property. My case manager, a Mr. Hassan Abdul Hussain, is very professional and very rapid and clear with communication, as well as highly accommodating through the process of applying. Any problems that I noticed since move in, can be seen being worked on within the day. I am content with my decision to lease through Mainstreet Equity Corp.

Worst customer service ever. The management is really bad. Never follow up on work orders and take weeks or at least months to fix the issues. Also, ask us to call everytime and take follow up. After all the frustration when you call head office they transfer you back to regular associate when requested to talk to executive manager.(probably they are scared to take customer complaints). Also give excuse of sick leave and off. As if the management has only 1 staff. As a customer we are paying rent to make our house better for living but not providing enough for the money they charge. Complaint about smoke detector,blinds, windows and roaches. Still on calling ask us if we followed up on complaint. It is not our job to follow up every small issues. The most concern is staff who pick your call... staff is rude really rude they have no empathy to talk to customers and are lazy. Customer job is to complaint and company should fix it but rather we have to remind them constantly.

I lived at Elizabeth Manor for a year. I had a great experience with the building manager Greeshma. Whenever I have any issues, she is always very responsive and everything is taken care of promptly. The one bedroom is spacious and thumbs up for covered parking.

Renting with Mainstreet Equity Corp was the worst experience of my adult life. If I could choose 0 stars that is what I'd be giving. I was forced to live with cockroaches for 9 months. Causing us PTSD. Not sure if anyone has experienced constantly finding them crawling all over your stuff, walls counters. Always hiding, giving us fabulous scares. I fought to be fumigated, was told they wouldn't inspect the rest of the apartment building cause of no other complaints. They gave me every excuse in the book on why I was still living with them. Was fumigated 4 times by "their maintenance ppl" and was "cleared" each time. When requested to see the reports or the company they used was told NO...... that they are internal use only. Just to finally afford to move and take them with us into our new home. When I confronted them and requested for them to fumigate my new home was told "not in their jurisdiction" and making our new landlords fumigate. Renters be aware...... absolutely the worst rental company to use. Cheap rent is not worth. Runnnnnnn

I am currently a tenant with Mainstreet since August 2019. I loved my apartment but just not happy with the area.When I first moved in there, there was some deficiencies I was not happy with but the building manager at the time spoke to the regional manager and the addressed all my concerns and I was a very happy tenant... (New Mirror closet doors in bedroom and hallway, new accordion doors on linen closet, beautiful living room curtains, and new bedroom blind, and a new stove) I was so happy, this unit is beautiful. After a length of time of not feeling good about the area being single, I contacted Mainstreet about transferring me to another area in one of their buildings. Olga Melnyk showed me one place but she knew it would not be large enough for my needs and i told her my issues with my current place and she went from there. She called me a couple days later asking if I was still looking and said she had the ideal place for me. I met her at the address and she was right, it was the perfect place. This lady is very kind and understanding and knows how to work with clients. She always answers my questions quickly. She has a beautiful disposition and shows she loves her job and is very serious about helping people to find their new home. I highly recommend Olga to help anyone to find an apartment with Mainstreet and will be recommending her and Mainstreet to any friends or acquaintances in the future looking for a place to live. Thank you so much Olga and keep doing the great work you are doing :)

I stayed at this property for almost 2 years. The building is very old. You may also have issues with some homeless people at the parking lot backside of the building. You may also find this property not updated. I had bad experience with their fire alarms quite a bit that kept ringing in the middle of the night for no reason. I found the appliances were not working sometimes, like the washer, dryer etc. Sometimes, people smoke pots inside the building. But this 5 stars review goes to the property manager, Udey, who treated me very well and made my stay worthwhile. He is a very nice gentleman and ready to help tenants. I think the company is trying to improve themselves to better serve their residents.

TO HARTFORD APARTMENTS MANAGEMENT KINDLY & IMMEDIATELY PLEASE REMOVE MY PRIVATE & PERSONAL TEL NUMBER FROM YOUR BUILDING ADDRESS AND INSTEAD PUT YOUR OWN BUSINESS TEL NUMBER. YOU HAVE BEEN MISLEADING CUSTOMERS FOE SO LONG BY DOING SO AND CAUSING ME A LOT OF INCONVENIENIENCE. IF CORRECTIVE ACTION NOT IMMEDIATELY TAKEN, A LEAGL ACTION WILL BE PURSUIT. THANK YOU HUSSEIN
