Its not like it used to be. I grew up there as a young boy from 1979 until 1986, I lived in the cabin that has the deck now. Back then it was just a campsite with only a few trailer sites, the road was still gravel. Used to be called Dickson General Store, as the Dickson's owned it. Now it just seems over crowded, and I heard there putting in a mini KFC, ridiculous.

This is a family owned and operated place, they are very friendly and offer great service. They are hoping to open a mini Kentucky fried chicken , which will be attached to the gas station. This always seems to be a popular stop during the summer season. Propane is also available here.

This beautiful location on Harrison Bay along Highway 7 and the store with a nice exterior look and signage is completely ruined by the no-longer-in-business S&G Restaurant sign that is half covered up and is a total eye-sore. Please tear it down! It hurts the magnificent scenery. Thank you very much.

Closed. With no indication when, or if at all, they intend on doing business again. Signs on entrance doors to say masks required for entry indicate that they closed within the last year and also that there has been absolutely no activity in the last month (Apr 2022) since the BC mask mandate has been lifted. One can only hope thar this small business hasn't fallen victim to Covid19 but without some sort of notice posted to the window we are, unfortunately, left to play the guessing game.
