M	Margarita S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We go for the public skating experience and although it's wonderful to have such a long period of time open on the ice, it gets busy and hacked up very quickly. It should be smoothed out at some point during this time slot and can very well obtain a better rating.
R	Ron Reutcky on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old-school arena, reminds me of my youth. Cold arena but not a big deal, I grew up playing outdoors in Winnipeg. Any indoor ice is a bonus. 3 stars because of the shower availability. Not too good for stinky teens and adults after a vigorous game or practice. If each dressing room had its own shower(s), I'd give it 5*.
J	Jason Roza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very old arena. It has unique charm to it though. Seems a little dangerous with the bunker-like change rooms with regards to fire safety. There's barely enough room to pass people in the hall so there's a little ledge to stand on while people are moving about. Very cold arena as well. Make sure you bundle up or stay out of the rink area.

I mean the walls have been painted & some trims replaced from the kids wear & tear on them over the years but this place is a great place for the kids to skate or play hockey! I grew up watching my older cousin play in this arena & the generals practiced there when I was a child! Great place!

The social distancing measures were enforced very well, staff were very friendly. Arena was in great condition and the ice was among the best I have seen.
O	Oshawa Guide on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally good all around, decent arenas, good parking, even the food isn't bad. Only issue is the hallway between the dressing rooms is tiny, barely enough for two people with their equipment to pass each other.

The arena has two ice pads and a nice over head heated view area. Although it’s tight it feels cozy, for sure one of my favourite arenas in Oshawa.
