★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Contracted to replace my leaking rear engine seal. Not installed properly so my flywheel rubbed on the new seal, causing it to fail within the first week. Contacted the 'mechanic' Jeff A. (alias name he gives) by texts and voice-phone messages several times to claim the 6-month warranty promised. He would not respond. Had to take it to another mechanic.
Anyone can make a mistake. It's what you do about it that counts. He doesn't honour his promises nor gives a written receipt for his work. I'll still take him to the Court of Queens Bench with my witnesses if he doesn't provide a prompt refund.
He has an opportunity to redeem himself before that. Do you think he will do the right thing and refund my money? I hope I'll be able to change this rating.
In the meantime, stay away, please.
