S	Sonia Sandhu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Devinder is an amazing body worker. When I first came to her, my neck and shoulder muscles were rock solid. They were stiff and I was in constant pain. She worked on the painful areas to release the tense muscles (it’s a WIP) as well as my full body to find other areas that needed TLC before they got as bad. Some, I didn’t even know about! She somehow always knows how and which activities affected different areas of my body before I can even make the connection. I don’t go to her for a relaxing massage. I go to her to fix my body and my god, she delivers. I’ve seen a massive improvement in myself since seeing her and look forward to continuing my journey to health. Thank you so much!

It says she did an RMT course and later says she graduated, so one would assume she is a registered massage therapist then. She is not however, so if you want to submit to your extended medical you won't be able to. When it says they don't accept insurance, that usually means they just don't do direct billing and you need to pay upfront then submit yourself to your extended which was fine by me. She was very nice at the appointment but I think it needs to be said straight up on the website that she is not an RMT as that creates confusion and can be very misleading to people. It then has people go in for an appointment under false pretenses only to find out later when they go to submit, that it's too late and they won't get their money back.

However even with insurance, it was quite expensive for me. So I figured why not look around for a massage place in between RMT appointments. I was desperate for any relief as my back was hurting so much. I found Hands on Healing just from a google search and saw all of the good reviews so I booked an appointment. Devinder took the time to sit down with me and ask me about where I was feeling discomfort and even explained to me the different types of massages she offers and what she believed would be best suited for me. I must admit, the massage process was at times a bit painful but Devinder often stopped to ask if I was okay and if she needed to change her pressure. The next day, I woke up without back pain for the first time in what feels like forever. I will be booking an appointment again in the future if my back acts up again, but right now I feel great!

I have had hundreds upon hundreds of massages over the years due to chronic pain, and this was probably one of the best massages I have ever had. I was actually pain free and felt amazing (even days after!) Devinder truly knows what areas to target and has incredible techniques to release tension and pain. I have already booked my second session with her - highly recommend!
