★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my dog in this afternoon to simply get a nail trim ($15). I have always done it (for all of my dogs I have had thought my life) but don't like doing it as I am scared to hit the quick because it is so painful for them. So I thought I would try get it done professionally.
When at the vet they advised that she was so easy to do and I was lucky she had white nails as it is even easier. The vet tried to up sell me on a $400+ dental cleaning (my dog is 3 years old just for reference of age), which I respectfully declined.
When we got home I noticed some blood marks on the floor. I took a closer look at my dogs nails and as it turned out the vet hit the quick on 7 NAILS!!!!!!
I phoned and spoke to the vet to get an explanation. The vet tried to give some excuses: nails had not been done before (I do them once a month), her nails were soft (not true). The vet asked me to bring her back in, which was impossible because I didn't plan for 2 vet trips for nail trim into my day, plus what are they going to do, the damage was already done. The vet finally said that she did the best she could.
I advised that if this was the "best they could do, then I would not be returning". I have posted some photos of my poor dogs nails from the day of the "trim" (which she is now licking because they are so sore) on here for people to see and you can base your own decision.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took Bella and Aria, my new kittens, to get their final vaccine. The vet was friendly and very helpful. Bella had a small reaction to the vaccine so she was sore and a bit disoriented. The vet returned my concerned call and guided me in looking after my baby. I was surprised when I received a follow up call after the weekend. Dr Kooyman wanted to make sure little Bella was doing well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall great experience. Friendly staff. Excellent care and good rates. They got us in within a few days of calling. We paid about $360 for 2 male neuters, pain meds, dewormer, a round of shots and cones. The boys rebounded quickly from their surgeries and the vet called the next day to follow up and make sure they were doing well. We will be going here again for any future needs. Thank you Hamptons Animal Hospital team!

I had an emergency last week with a stray cat and they didn't think twice about getting me booked in straight away with no mention of how much the bill was. Their main concern was the cat and how quick they could help relieve his pain and make him comfortable. Thank you Dr.Anton and your amazing staff especially the receptionist who are always so kind and helpful with any of my issues with animals. God Bless you all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to express my sincere and total appreciation to The Hamptins Vet Clinic for the most caring and knowledgeable care of my male cat that had a severe UTI. The receptionist who took my frantic call asked Dr. Anton if she could see him right away. This was willing to make that happen immediately. All other clinics could not accommodate me and suggested that I take him into emergency. I phoned throughout the day and was immediately connected with Dr. Anton. She was amazing and I wish I could remember who the receptionist was that day because she was exceptional as well. Thank you for saving my boy. Also, fees were very reasonable.
