To start off, the car is awesome, no complaints there and that's why they get 2 stars. Just to be clear I am not reviewing Hyundai, but the dealer Hamel Hyundai! The level of transparency and honesty displayed by this dealer is alarming. This is the second car we bought there, the first was purchased over the phone and quit frankly it was the cheapest Hyundai accent just to get me through the next year or so. What went Right --------------------------- They offered water & cafe when we came in. The car was delivered quickly, clean and as you would expect from a new car. What went Wrong ----------------------------- Transparency I was told no fees for taking back the old leased 10 months before the due date. They charged me about 16 mounts for the remaining 10 months and made sure it was in the by back amount. But they were right no "extra fees". Unfortunately I discovered this only a few days after taking ownership of the car. If I would have know I would be spending over 1300$ for them to talk it back I would have kept the lease. I can count & paying 50% more for the car over 10 months doesn't make sens! Customer service I was told that my situation doesn't normally happen. Great! They only have bad customer service when you actually have to get some work done. For 3 payments I was paying both cars, after the first payment went through I called and was never called back. In fairness it was during the holidays however if they're open they should take care of customers and not just try to get new ones. The second payment I talked to the sales manager, was suppose to solve the payment issue and give me a call back with the status. That same evening arrived home finally got a phone call from one of their staff. Told her that I had talked to the manager and that he was handling the situation. They did send me a check for 130$ when they owed my 206$. Next payment passes in my account still no news from the manager. I get pissed, send a wonderful email to the President of Hyundai Canada and VP of customer relationships. Very little detail in the email other than my name, email and phone number. Lo and behold (sent the email on Friday afternoon) Monday afternoon I get a call from the dealer with a customer satisfaction agent from head office to let me know a check will be ready next morning to reimburse what was taken by error and that no more payments would be taken. Yes, they also came up with all sorts of bullshit excuses as to why their customer service is so bad! The review is being written after I have confirmed that appropriate actions have been taken to resolve the issue. It's funny how in over a month they couldn't get anything done, yet one email to executives and things get done pretty fast, specially considering they had to lookup the deal, contact them, assign someone to make sure the issue is resolved from head office, follow up, and actually get the problem resolve. All of this took at most 90 hours including nights and weekends. The magic of execs! Log story short ------------------------- If you fit the 90% of thoughtless transaction you will get great service. If something goes wrong be ready to fight to get things done. Don't trust them, take the documents home, read them thoroughly do the math with the numbers they present you. Or just go somewhere else! ** Great customer service is revealed they things don't go as planned! They failed at that, I won't be buying here again. I've asked another dealer to replace the Hamel Hyundai logo from my car, no way I give them any good publicity!

Not giving the 5 stars only by precaution. The buying experience of my girlfriend's new car went pretty good with not too much pressure coming from the salesperson and the after selling stage will say if not giving full score was appropriated but definately the initial experience was for the most satisfactory.

0 /10 in ABC sales ...Went to ask for the new Hyundai Tuscon 2020 ,The receptionist was very professional but the sales man was very cold he said no we don't have 2020 anymore and he left us walk away .He didn't even bother him self suggesting if we would like to see the 2021 because they look the same .May be he didn't like us because we spoke English!! I went directly to Hyundai chomedy and asked for the same 2020 but the Salesman was professional and said he doesn't have the 2020 anymore but he suggested to have a look on the 2021 and that's it we closed a deal with him at the end :) A talented Salesman makes a huge difference.

Great service from Martin and Denis from used car department. Really went far and beyond to make sure three car was to my satisfaction before delivery. Service department took little bit more time to schedule some needed repairs butb once done, all was good.

Wow, I got swore at! I inquired about a vehicle from autotrader but this sales named Benoit Ouellette replied in French. When I mentioned I don't speak french, he ignored me. When I tried to follow up, he said the car was sold which is already 2 weeks later. I said I will leave negative feedback, he swore at me in an email which is the only English that he could speak, see attached. Please deal with this employee, I will send this to the media as I got the full trace of the conversation. Benoit, I hope you are reading this and have already costed you your job. We are in Canada and English is one of the official language.

Super friendly service. Bernard the chauffeur service driver is such a pleasure to be around. One star removed as when I got my car back the steering wheel was covered in dirt from the mechanics hands.
