â â â â â As a real estate broker, I very much understand the reputation mechanics face along with my profession, car salesmen and lawyers. That is certainly not the case with Ali (the owner). He cares about each client and goes far above and beyond to help and find the best solution at the best price for all his clients. Not to mention you are always greeted with a smile and good conversation.
My son who lives in Saint-Lazare was having major issues with his 2009 Honda Fit's A/C unit. After several quotes from local garages in Vaudreuil-Soulanges and his Honda dealer, I asked him to travel to Laval and see if Ali could help. He is a CEGEP student and has limited income and insists on being self sufficient money wise. The other mechanics were asking between $1500 - 1700 to fix the air on a $4000 car. Ali took the time to really assess the situation and found out what was really wrong with the A/C and fixed it for a fraction of the above cost. My son couldn't believe it.
On or off warranty for regular maintenance and procedures this si the place to come. For used cars off warranty there is absolutely no better place. I am totally sold on Ali and Speedy!

â â â â â Avoid this place. Brought my car in for an alignment after replacing my outer tie rod end, and noticed that the wheels were still not aligned properly but thought I was just being paranoid. Car was obviously pulling to the right while driving so I went back a few weeks later so they could fix the alignment, and was told that I would have to pay $200 to replace my ball joint and another $110 for a second alignment. I asked why they didn't tell me about my balljoint that needs to be replaced before doing the first alignment, and they said that my balljoint had no issues at the time, which is a lie because my wheels were still not aligned after the first alignment. Scammers.

â â â â â Avoid this place at all cost! After a grossly overpriced repair my AC stopped working. Brought it back to get told my condenser rusted out. Quoted me almost 1000$ to replace it. Went to another mechanic and he showed me my condenser. Not a speck of rust, but instead a bolt snapped in the hose connector. I know for a fact they had to remove my condenser in the first repair, and the way the owner Ali lied to me about it being rusted is very suspicious. Seems to me like they ruined my condenser and dodged accountability while trying to make another buck in the process. Untrustworthy mechanic who takes advantage of non car people! Now I got to buy another condenser and install it and recharge the system. 400$ wasted
