M	Max on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired Halton Window & Door Company to replace our windows because of a few decent Google reviews and proximity to our home. The product they sell is good, but the service is absolutely horrendous. Anthony was knowledgeable and pleasurable to deal with during the quote and it all went downhill from there. Communication was poor and on several occasions they were outright dishonest. They repeatedly misled us regarding timelines, repairs and paperwork. There was no accountability. Everything was blamed on the manufacturer, even when it was clearly not the manufacturer's fault and easily avoidable. Attention to detail was non-existent. Installers repeatedly made the same mistakes, left garbage everywhere, and paperwork was always wrong. They ultimately refused to deal with issues as a result of their own improper installation and we were forced to use a different company to fix it. Everyone makes mistakes. Halton Windows & Door Company is incapable of dealing with them in a professional and timely manner. Update: Thanks Marie or Tony or whomever else replied. It's odd that you'll take the time to follow up on a review, but when I actually needed you I got the run around. It's too late now. Marie blames Mike, Mike blames Vinylbilt, and so on. I'm not a competitor trying to mess with your reviews, I'm a customer who got screwed by trusting them. Stop worrying about your online reputation and start focusing on your customers.

On top of that, we had a budget we need to work within. I spoke to five different companies and decided to go with Halton. Anthony made us comfortable from the start. Unlike the other companies, I felt that he listened to what we needed, not trying to sell us what they have in stock. Their installation crew is great. They were polite and respectful when they were at my home. They finished on time and they didn't leave a mess for me to clean. My windows and door look amazing, my husband is happy as well. I definitely recommend them!

They were able to answer our questions during the install. The job was done in a timely manner as well. We are amazed at the quality of the door. Sound proof and air tight which we are happy about. They were very tidy and friendly. Cleaned both inside and outside after the job was completed. Couldn't be happier with the experience. Highly recommend this company!

Barry was thorough at our introductory meeting, Mike answered all our technical questions, Marie helped us pick our selections, and Martin and Alex's workmanship on the install was impeccable. Our old windows were removed and taken away, the new windows installed with new casing and cladding, everything sealed to look good and endure, and it all cleaned up during the process. We were nervous because windows are a long-term investment and we didn't want to choose the wrong colour, style, or end up with cheap windows we would regret. No regrets here. Gorgeous look, smooth glide functionality, quality workmanship and an overall stress-free, positive experience. We are so happy with our windows. We highly recommend Halton Window and Door.

They guided us through the process in our house selecting the right type of window for our needs and in the showroom with different choices like trim colour/glass. The crew that came out did a wonderful job. They kept us informed on the progress and made sure we were happy with the end result. The end result looked fantastic and everyone we dealt with throughout the process was polite and helpful.

Yet provided me a catalogue from 2020 which clearly was outdated by a couple years. Since I had done my own research on the manufacturer I shared with him a product I had selected online by the same manufacturer. He took the information away to see if it was available, letting me know that the install would take approx. 6- 8 weeks. A couple weeks later I received a quote via email for over $8,000 to which I accepted. At which time I was also notified that I would be contacted to schedule final measurements and to provide a down payment. It is now mid May, I have yet to be contacted by anyone via phone or email to schedule such from Halton Window & Door. In the interim I made the decision to go with another vendor, one that is interested in my business, and understands customer service. Shopping local in Halton?
