It's a small market but lots of good stuff to check out...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and daughter love going to this every week. Note that pretty much every day there is a market in different towns (Haliburton, Minden, Canarvon...). If you are looking to get something from the baker you will want to get there early and line up before the bell as he sells out quickly. We have purchased baked goods, veggies, fruit, jam, meat, honey, dog treats... There are even some craft items available. There is no cost to enter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good variety of products. Love the vendor that sells the wooden puzzles. His prices are really reasonable for the quality of workmanship. Love the book/page holder.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a small Northwestern Ontario town the fair had all the makings of a real Country Fair. Home made everything was on sale. Real comfort foods to dried meats to popcorn. Folk Art and music made the fair a real family outing. Lots of fun. Exploring the rest of the town made it that much more exciting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great country market. Fresh veggies, baked goods and jams, etc. Nice place to stroll thru on a Tuesday afternoon. Don't forget to pick up your free copy of the Echo. Could use a few more vendors (cheese) and prices are a little high - typical of farmers market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice... Still very small... Not alot of veggies spots. They will come in time. Nice coffee booth, has a very enlightening conversation with the 'coffee roaster' geek (his words). Had a wonderfully tasty espresso and bought a pound of coffee.
