Lovely place for a family to go for a swim, a day picnic or camping overnight.

β β β β β Good spot to hang out for the day and go for a swim but if you plan on day drinking at all you might be better off elsewhere as open liquor is prohibited but only the one park manager cares about it

β β β β β Had a great time kayaking here. It is a smaller campsite/day-use facility but well looked after and clean. The lake is bordered by private property almost all the way around, so no going ashore except at the campsite.

β β β β β We have been here several times, quite, clean, nice little camp ground.
Half moon is a very small lake that is perfect for canoeing. You can put a motor boat in the water from the camp ground and there is enough space to speed around but it is a very small lake. Very narrow.

β β β β β We visited yesterday and had the best time. There is a new couple running the campground this year and they are so friendly! The bathrooms are clean and the park is well maintained. Big improvements from last year! The snacks at the store are reasonably priced as well. I recommend checking it out for day use!

β β β β β Small and quite campground, not far from Edmonton, with a really nice lake.
Good for rving and boating.
Cons : fenced property no trails or paths, not much privacy between guests.
