About Half Moon Lake Resort

Originally developed in 1926 as a campground with a handful of sites near the lake’s south end and surrounded by 100 acres of natural forest, Half Moon Lake Resort has grown to include a beach area, decked pavilion building, washroom facilities, pickleball courts, basketball court, beach volley ball, playground, and, of course, mini-golf. In addition to our 216 sites, 170 of which are fully serviced, the resort now includes group camping and day-use areas.

The resort has passed through many hands over the more than 50 years of its existence; but as its newest owners, we’re devoted to making Half Moon Lake Resort the premiere lake destination in the greater Edmonton area.

F	Fr P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean washroom and shower. But you need to fix your map. We booked site by the lake. When we arrived your staff let us know that location wasn't by the lake. We stayed at the jungle instead. We will appreciate more if we get what we booked as your fee wasn't average, compare to other campgrounds. Yes we did stayed at other campgrounds which is stay to the nature but stay clean and well maintained.

Lots of new development of taking place over the last couple of years with the grounds being cleaned up and awesome place for families to come and enjoy the week or even just a weekend. I look forward to seeing some of the many changes they have planned which will only add to the campground and to the Strathcona community
D	Della Curry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented the cabin, they were nice. We knew there were no bathrooms or running water. We had to go get water at my adult kids taps from their Tent spot. We brought fans which helped. No big bowls or big pots. Amenities great as we love volleyball and pickleball. Lots for kids to do but they couldn't swim because of the leaches. Very crowded but friendly people. Tent sites were not enough amps to run air conditioning for my adult kids. Security//maintenance guy very friendly.

Staff was friendly and beyond helpful. Definitely can’t wait to go back! Would like to see more up keep on the mini golf course. But free to play with a deposit on the club. So can’t complain.

The staff were friendly and very helpful at checkin and anytime I had a question. The bathrooms were nice and well kept. There was lots for my son to do and he loved the inflated jumping pillow and mini golf. I expected to have to pay a fee for some of the activities but they were included in the camping experience. There was a playground and a nice sized beach. The beach had showers for rinsing off. There was a small store that had ice and firewood as well as some food and snacks. Will definitely be going back! As for the reviews about campers being loud- that would be more of a review of humans and not the camp resort. Every campsite I've ever been to have people having fun- I personally felt like people were being respectful

Found front staff rude over this matter. Guess dont need my patronage. So if all i needed to do was register. To have a look. Saftey and security of the guests. I understand.
