Be ae after me (and I had been squeezed in), I never felt rushed at all. Shame we are not local here else this would be my regular go to place for a cut! Also, very good value for money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually do my own hair but there is no toner available to buy so I decided to go to a salon tone my hair after bleaching it and was super excited they had a spot at Hair by D as I had only heard good things, Unfortunately my experience wasn't great. I asked for an ashy toner and did not receive that.. I left with my hair even more golden then when I came and I did not receive the cut I asked and paid for but a trim instead. When I went to pay she wasn't able to take debit and so I had to drive across town and get cash and come back...
I went to Sallys and got an ash blonde and 20 volume put it in and left it for 5 minutes and this corrected their mistake and my hair came out exactly how I originally wanted.
** I understand I did not use a toner as they did not have any available. Its just what I had to use to fix what had happened. I expressed how I was unsatisfied with the result and was not offered any solution. I think my stylist was new as she kept asking the other girl what to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a tenant of the building that just burned down on Cardinal in Abbotsford. I went in for a haircut on Saturday with Nicole hoping for a change. She charged me 95 for a dry cut and straighten no product other than heat protectant. I tipped 15 dollars. In a vulnerable and shaken state from the accident I said ok. I went back asking why 95? First she said it was her rate and then went back and said 30 for a dry cut and 30 for a straighten. She refunded me 20$ making the total 75. I asked for a refund on my tip (which was on the 95) and miscalculation of tax (she taxed me 15 on 60 total). Ultimately, she said no. She’s a scammer. Worse, she’s scamming people who are rebuilding their lives after fires. Shame on you. They’re going to say I’m lying.
Response: They never offered me a full refund today, only the tax and tip. I asked if I could come on Saturday they said no. I work 9-5 and can’t come in today. I can’t miss work especially after this fire. It was a DRY CUT. I’m not lying. My friends and family are liking this post. All I want is my money back. How could you guys lie and do this? Im in shock.
