Dropped off some un-needed goods quick and easy.. Went in to browse the isles And found some out door speakers I've been wanting.

Watch out! A price sticker says $5. He said "oh, a volunteer made a mistake, they start at $10". How is it that I pay for the volunteers mistake and pay the $10 for the item? And prices on some things are outrageous, prices are going up too. Last time I shop here! I lost my job too because of covid-19. I can't afford new prices, not to mention I like up cycling. I'll stick to my REAL thrift stores.

The Restore is now my first place to shop for anything from small items to bigger things. The book department has so many choices always fun to browse through. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you are planning a scavenger hunt the Restore is a good option it's always full of thing's you never thought of finding. I can't think of a time when I went to the Restore and didn't Walk out with anything such good prices.

Friendly staff and good prices but the store needs a good clean.

I didn't find what I initially went in for but saw a few things that I needed. The store was clean and organized.

Absolutely awful. Some guy at the store told me I couldn’t enter because they were β€œclosing soon” and I said that the store was open for 10 more minutes and his response was β€œour clocks work a little different here”.I get it you want to go home but this was the only time I could make it. If you close your store 4:50pm you should change it to 4:50pm. Like is there a specific time I need to arrive in order to be allowed into the store. Horrible way to run a business.

I like the initiative behind this company. I always enjoyed being able to find affordable items at different stores in other cities I have live in and like to support them. However, I do find the store here in Kelowna is not as enjoyable though. The odd time you might find something you need for a decent used price but in this particular store I have seen beat up IKEA side tables, Kallax shelves, etc. listed for almost the price of new at IKEA. What is happening? Why would I buy used for the price of new? Not only is this store supposed support those in need with the funds it generates, but it is also supposed to support those in need through affordable merchandise in their store for those who cannot afford fancy and new within the community. I think that explains that side of things. Lastly, I've been in a few times now, and everytime I have made a purchase or asked the gentleman at the front a question he has always made me feel as though my being there is an inconvenience to him. Simple questions seem to throw him off regardless of lack of urgency behind it or tone. While he has a kind voice you can sense the stress/annoyance. Pay him more, find him more help, talk to him about his impact on customers... whatever you need to do to resolve this and change the tone of the interactions, please do. I don't enjoy coming here because of all of the above, I always leave feeling conflicted regardless of whether I find what I need.
