P	Patrick Lafreniere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is friendly and professional but it cost me 132$ to get my taxes done there. I had 2 t4's and and some donations receipts and that's it. My mom paid 100$ for her taxes to get done and she filed for a business. I would suggest going somewhere cheaper because I feel ripped off
R	Ryan Araujo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know if it's these guys specifically or H&R Block as a whole, but don't waste your money. We brought all pertaining documents to our meeting, but our rep later asked me to come back and drop off one of the documents again as she didn't take a copy of it. I drove it back there and was told all was good. I got a letter from CRA months after my return was processed and advising they never received the document (it was a $12K bill that substantially altered my return). When I called H&R Block to ask about it, the lady I spoke with got really aggressive, really quickly - she kept trying to point the finger at CRA, telling me they "lose things like this all the time, we definitely sent it out." - problem is I hadn't even told her my name yet, so she obviously had no clue if they did or not. After telling her a few times that I don't care who's to blame, I'd just like to know how to get it sorted out, she went out of her way to tell me that "they were under no obligation to help me, but she would do it for me as a favour." I glossed over it the first time, but then she repeated that two more times, for no apparent reason. At that point, I told her thanks, but I'd rather deal with CRA directly (and anyone who's dealt with CRA directly knows it's not fun). Either way, I hired a real accountant to do my taxes this year and couldn't be happier. It cost me a hair more than these guys but it's well worth the money.
C	Christina Lafreniere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at this location are amazing. In 2012 I would have turned 18 but I didn't think to file taxes that year as I just graduated and wasn't working. I always file my taxes with hrblock and they saw that I could have filed that year to get a GST credit so they called me in August and asked if I wanted to come in so I could file and receive this extra money. I love how they went out of their way to let me know about a credit I didn't realize I was eligible for from 4 years ago! :)
J	John Goranson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Tax Expert was professional, helpful, and friendly. Minimal wait in the office on the two occasions I visited (with an appointment). Three years in a row, the whole process has been quite efficient and has gone smoothly. Very satisfied.

If you are going to speak poorly about someone you should really make sure you arent speaking through the phone line directly to them. I wont be using this service again. I called and then they made an appointment which they later cancelled and rescheduled at another location; then when I called that location they told me to go back to the other location so I called them and they booked another appointment at the first location- still not fixed for me
T	Tylene Thompkins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know it's not cheap to have your taxes done, but look at the alternatives. A few years back I did it myself and messed it up, so had to do it again. Then there's a couple years ago, I went with a free service and it wasn't calculated correctly and we received a good return only to be side swiped a few months later with legitimate bill from the feds to pay back an uncomfortable amount. 2020 with all the lock everything's my Mom and I went to a pro but it was basic, disappointing and not a good return. Last year after too many years trying to be cheap we went to H&R Block who we used to go to in another province. We received two perfectly done tax returns that were thorough and had an excellent return because of attention to detail. Conclusion, can you afford not to use a professional like H&R Block? Especially, when you have no clue about all the changing tax laws and rules that are important to know. Tax audits are no joke as well, don't get caught unprepared because you want to be cheap like I repeatedly did. ???
