GTA KNINE

We took our 5 months old doberman puppy girl to Adriano for training. We did Stay and train program, where she train from 9 am to 4 pm for 5 days. Started noticing a difference from day one and it was improving with every day of training. Adriano takes time to understand the dog and issues that need to be corrected. He is excellent with the follow up on the training and making it stick, so not just do a trick and let it go. He comes up with a program based on what your dog needs. You can absolutely tell, that he is in this business for all the right reasons and wholeheartedly invested in it. We had a very positive experience with GTA Knine and will be back for improvements in the future :) Thank you, Adriano!

We have just got our little man, Bo the 1 year old male French Bulldog back from spending 3 weeks with Adriano in the board and train program. We are beyond impressed on the positive change we have seen in our crazy little man. Bo had a few issues regarding jumping up on people, excited state of mind, impulse control and recall with distractions while off leash. Let me tell you, I have enjoyed my second week of off leash walks with Bo at Boyd Park and am loving ever minute of it! We are now walking on the trail with other people and dogs off leash!!!! Bo has become a better dog and most importantly we have become better owners. Adriano has made us understand what it means and looks like when a dog is at ease and truly balanced! We highly recommend the team at GTA KNINE, and have total confidence they will deliver.

I signed my Golden Retriever Charlie (6 months old at the time) up for a 3 week board and train with Adriano. I was blown away after the first week, Charlie was a lot more calm around the house and going on walks was a breeze. After the 3 weeks it felt like Adriano took my dog and gave me a different dog. Going on the walks was even easier, he's crate trained, he's fantastic when it comes to off leash walking and recall as well. Adriano overall is a very experienced and patient trainer. He listened to all my concerns (there was lots) and walked me through what I should do in certain situations with Charlie. Even after the training was done, Adriano still takes the time to answer questions I may have. If you want your dog to have an amazing training experience to set them up for the future, I highly recommend GTA Knine.

Having two puppies at the same time is a challenge on its own and we were so lucky to have found Adriano! We have a stubborn Rottweiler and a reactive Husky mix, both who have very different needs. After bringing Lexi to his program, and seeing how amazing her progress was, we knew we were going to bring Baz as well. Adriano was able to tailor his two-week training program to fit what each dog needed to improve / work on. He worked closely with us to ensure the pups got everything they could out of it. Both times he was super responsive and answered all our questions. We also felt that we were very much a part of the process because he kept us updated on their progress and sent us videos. Each time we felt super confident leaving with our dogs because he takes the time to really go over everything with you and ensure you understand what to do to continue with the training. We will definitely be back, whether it's extra training for the pups, refreshers or boarding. You can tell he loves what he does and bonds with every dog he works with. We would highly recommend Adriano and his training services!!!

I enrolled Abby in GTA KNINES 4 week behaviour modification program due to her aggression towards other dogs, as well people (mostly men/kids), and her unhealthy obsession with following me around everywhere. In just the first week, Adriano was able to accomplish what my previous trainers for Abby couldn't do in a month. Not only is his patience, determination, and dedication for the dogs he trains unmatched, he is extremely reliable, responsible, and excellent at communication. He takes the time to update you on the dogs progress daily, as well as take the time to answer any questions you may have not only while your dog is staying with him, but well after the training program is complete. Before Adriano, I always thought Abby would be the type of dog who could never really meet new people, ever be taken off a leash, or be taken out anywhere with a lot of distractions; but I was completely wrong. Thanks to Adriano, Abby is now able to experience both structure, and the freedom of being off leash and having perfect recall. She ignores new people coming into the home (a BIG step forward from the dog who was lunging and snapping at newcomers) and I was actually able to bring her with me to an outdoor sporting event with a lot of loud noises and distractions, and she stayed in her "place" and didn't even react!! I cannot thank Adriano and GTA KNINE enough. Because of him, I have a completely new dog in the best way possible, and I couldn't be more grateful. You and your dog truly will have a friend for life with Adriano, and I very highly recommend him.

Incredibly knowledgeable dog trainer and structured training program. We wish we found Adriano/GTA KNINE earlier! We can’t recommend Adriano and GTA KNINE enough. Our 1.5 month old Australian Shepherd – Border Collie mix named Taco had every behavioural issue in the book – reactivity, food aggression, anxiety, lack of door manners, leash manners, a bite history and more. We had been through multiple trainers without success and were dedicated to finding a training program that would help us better manage Taco and enjoy our life with him. After a phone consultation with Adriano and learning more about his program we signed up for a 6-week behaviour modification board and train program. Throughout the 6 weeks, Adriano demonstrated his love for dogs, passion for training and his in-depth training knowledge. He was also so patient when training us how to work with Taco during take-home weekend sessions allowing us to truly integrate everything Taco was learning while boarding. We left each week with specific things to work on with Taco and felt very supported along the way. The program exceeded our expectations and best of all we loved seeing how strong of a bond Adriano and Andrew were able to build with Taco within a few weeks. We’ve left the 6 week program with more peace of mind, a better relationship with our pup and the confidence to continue implementing structured training into each and every day. A few notable highlights post-training are 1. Walking in heel / no more leash pulling 2. Door Manners 3. Less reactivity 4. A calmer demeanour in the house 5. Easier handling of Taco (nail clipping, hair trimming etc.) 6. Knowledge on how to create structure for Taco. We can’t recommend this training program enough. We’ll be sending Taco back for refresher weeks and anytime we travel we’ll be bringing him back for boarding and training. Thank you Adriano for all that you do! We are so grateful.

Working with Adriano and his team has been an absolute dream. We came with two dogs: Mercy a 7 year old aggressive German Shepherd and Kauai a 4 year old mutt with terrible manners. I watched his transformations on Instagram (@gtaknine) for months and couldn’t help thinking that he was a magician- thankfully I was right! After 4 weeks we received brand new dogs! Although Mercy was older Adriano assured us that any dog at any age can be trained and the results are incredible. We can now walk our dogs loose leash in heel and pass other dogs without pulling, barking, lunging or in worst case scenarios attacking. Mercy had attacked many dogs in the past which led to us having bad anxiety while walking him. We are now gaining our confidence back and walking them has become fun again! Something I haven’t been able to say for the last 6 years!! We used to walk him at 11pm just to not meet other dogs but now gladly take him to the busy park on weekends because we know he will listen to us. It’s definitely a lot of work and there’s a lot of information to take in but I couldn’t be more grateful. Adriano was the 5th trainer we had for Mercy and his aggression/protectiveness and none has been able to actually change him until now. Also teaching them off leash has changed our lives. We can now have picnics in the park and play with a ball outside- our dogs are so much happier in their structured lives as it actually affords them more freedom. Highly recommend that you bring your dog here for anything from general obedience to severe issues. My dogs were so excited every Monday when I dropped them off for a week and I loved seeing their progress on Instagram. Thank you again!

Adriano’s work and Andrew’s support with my young Alsatian wolf, Whisky, was worth every penny. Her improved behaviour has made it so much easier to enjoy her. I now have a skill set that I can expand.
