Greg Martineau Windows Calgary

I'm confused about these 1star reviews. Greg Martineau was fantastic. Excellent service, quality windows, professional workers. The best! If you're looking to have windows replaced this is the company you want. Windows are tricky to get right, Greg Martineau has not only perfected the process they've redefined it and raised the bar. I can't say enough good things about Greg Martineau. We will definitely be returning customers. Big thanks to everyone at Greg Martineau.

Absolutely horrible in terms of quality of work, efficiency, professionalism and communication with customers! Do not use this company!!! We have had to look over EVERY inch of the work they have done multiple times and have found DOZENS of problems which takes WEEKS for them to repair, if ever, and often the repair looks JUST AS BAD as the problem they were supposed to address! When they re-did our windows, they left so dozens and dozens of chips in the frames that they then painted over with the WRONG color of white, so the chips look just as bad, if not worse now that they have been "repaired". After our siding was installed, it took them WEEKS to re-install our mailbox as they said they would. When they did, they drilled about 8 holes for the 2 screws it takes to install the mailbox, they then left a whole bunch of horrible looking holes in our brand new siding! Everywhere they go, their employees leaves a trail of garbage, including mcdonalds bags, pop cans and even fiberglass insulation, all over both private and public property which they just didn't clean up. We initially weren't aware of all of the garbage left in courners of our yard and let our dog out. She ended up eating some of their construction garbage and became quite ill. We ended up having to board her at another place for a MONTH while they did their work since repeated requests to clean up potentially dangerous construction waste were ignored. Their employees also CONTINUALLY park in our assigned parking spots, despite repeated requests to notify us in advance when they need our space to allow us to make other parking arrangements. When we discussed it with employees, they were incredibly rude and unprofessional. The employees also frequently block driveways during the mornings (8:00am on a tuesday!), actually blocking in people trying to leave for work and then seem somehow confused when they are asked to move their vehicles to allow people to leave their homes! Overall, poor quality of work, unprofessional and occasionally downright reckless behaviour, poor communication with customers and generally made this experience more frustrating than it needed to. Considering the quality of the work they perform, they grossly overcharge! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

By far the worst service I’ve ever had! They barley work!! When they do choose to come work they only come to the job site every couple days and will only work for a couple hours and then they call it a day. They don’t pick up after themselves, there are screws, wood, tools all around the building. They’ve been working on repairing 24 balconies at my condo building, they started a month and a half ago, and have literally gotten no where’s except for ripping all the balconies down AND LEAVING THEM!! They also were supposed to fix the entire balconie but they chose to just fix a couple pieces of wood and leave the rest the way they are. I’m honestly scared to use the balcony when their finished because it hasn’t been properly planned out, executed or even inspected. I don’t think they kno what a nail gun is either because they never seem to use one and prefer to use the old fashion nail and hammer. Hopefully my balcony gets finished soon, but with Greg Martineau Working on it i can imagine my balcony won’t be done until next year

I have had all of my windows done and my two house doors. The staff were professional from the phone call, assessment of needs to installation. I had no surprises and work was done within the timeline quoted. Installers were experienced, polite and did a great job. They cleaned up as well!

The team from Greg Martineau Projects had a BIG job ahead of them; they pulled it off with ease. They were very professional and with safety in mind were able to install my new windows, some very large windows and in high places, without a hitch. They also ensured that they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend Greg Martineau Projects to everyone.

Greg Martineau has been at my condominium FOR SIX MONTHS. All they've managed in SIX MONTHS is a partial demolition of one row of balconies, they have literally spent four months on one balcony, as an architectural technologist that is absolutely baffling. Their equipment is loud and they have ZERO respect for the residents of the building. Wood and screws everywhere, balconies torn apart and left for months, I've seen staff keep the skyjack running immediately next to a tenant's suite, safety beeping on the whole while, while they had a conversation for upwards of five minutes . Avoid this company, they have no clue what they are doing, and I'm not the only one who feels this way. My fellow tenants have left their own reviews of the situation. Nobody is happy, and you can avoid this by going with a different renovation company, Calgary has many. I will be uploading pictures of the way they leave their jobsite at the end of the day, which is a pretty large indicator of their overall level of service Greg, if you're reading this, you don't just get to take the money, you actually have to do the work too

I had my windows and balcony doors replaced in Windsor Point condos in December. The project was completed on time with a minimum of interuption. The workers were efficient, friendly and respectful of my time and property. Workers left my condo clean. They even re-hung the blinds and showed me how to do it myself should I ever need to. I would recommend this company.

We had a huge condo re-clad project that involved installing windows and doors for our condo owners. I personally found Greg Martineau's company to be excellent. Great communication, very polite and mindful and excellent work. I'm baffled by the lower ratings here as knowing how condo projects go, there are often many factors such as engineering considerations, condo boards and individual "opinions". Not only did they do a great job to everyone's satisfaction, they also anticipated communication challenges and made sure each owner had an understanding so that the project moved well. They also came in under budget. Above and beyond was their friendliness and mindfulness. IF I could give a 6/5 on this rating I'd do so!
