Green's is a family owned and operated business in Calgary, Alberta, Canada - home of the world famous Calgary Stampede.
Started in 1959 by Oscar and Freda Green in the basement of their home, Green's is now in it's fourth location.
We specialize in serving hobbyists, businesses, rock, mineral and fossil collectors, and those just looking for a really cool gift.
Our store welcomes the serious and amateur collector as well as those just curious.
We welcome you to come and browse our wheelchair accessible store from
10:00-6:00 Monday through Friday and 10:00-5:00 Saturdays, at

Of course, we accept on-line shopping 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world.
We do have a minimum on-line purchase, however, of $25.00 CDN.

The owner and his wife are kind people in my dealings with them.

This amazing place has so many amazing specimens for sale and Eric always has or makes the time to
help me find what I am looking for.
He has been able to help me find the equipment and machines I have been interested in purchasing and made sure to take the time to explain everything about what I was getting into with it.
You can not go wrong shopping here.
I place phone orders as I live in BC and he always ships out my parcel as soon as possible.
I can't say enough good about my experience dealing and shopping in this little gem of a shop!

If you're overwhelmed by the amazing diversity and beauty of nature on the macro scale ( lakes, rivers, mountains ) then come here and experience the beauty and diversity on a micro scale. Colors, shapes, textures ... truly inspiring. Not to mention, the history of our planet is archived in it's rock and can be found in this establishment
What you will find, well, you walk in the door to an amazing collection of rocks, crystals and gems. Then you will meet a fine gentleman, who is very knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about his work. Green's provides more then just a store front to purchase stones and such, but today my mission was stones ..... Mission accomplished and Thanks !.
In closing I highly recommend a visit, if anything just to remissness about that day as a child, you saw that peculiar stone and you picked up and took it home. You rubbed it and you polished it ... and you wondered if you found gold. Remember that day ? and that stone ?
Who knows, you may still have that stone. Bring it down ... show it to them .... lol ... they'll probably tell ya ... ' sorry kid ... it's pyrite ' But, the fun was in the looking and wondering and that is Golden enough.

Seriously, if you are into authentic Lapidary specimens this is the place to go.
As a collector, I was deeply impressed with the knowledge of the sales woman! She was an expert and was super friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing store! They have so much to look at I could spend all day here. I brought my almost 2 year old son and he got to pick out a geode and brake it open. Very fun experience and the result is amazing. My son and I love the geode we got to break open. Prices are great and the owners are full of knowledge and so easy to talk to. I bought a rock tumbler also and they have a great package deal when you buy everything together! You get everything you need to go home and make your own gemstones including the rock!! I highly recommend this store and will for sure be a repeat customer.

Also an amazing place to get all your rock tumbler supplies including some absolutely stunning polished and non polished stones and crystals. This place is awesome. I plan to spend plenty of time here in the future.
