Her knowledge and patience for all my questions is exceptional. Taylor in dispatch was also very helpful with questions about packing certain items and kept me updated with information about the actual move. The actual movers were all professional, personable and kept me updated as they packed items I needed them to and when packing the truck. With my last move, I was moving contents from my dad's home in Mississauga to Edmonton and Amar and his crew were great to work with. I would definitely recommend Great Canadian Van Lines to anyone with a small or large move.

Drivers protected all the furniture very well and installed it at the new place. We received our shipment 2 days earlier than the expected delivery date.I would highly recommend their service.

I compared dozens of companies, but they were eventually recommended by a family friend who has her own local moving company in Vancouver (but only does local moves). They were always very professional, quick to answer my emails and able to address any concerns I had. I was able to book them for the dates I needed, and the move was only a couple days long altogether. We had a two days window for delivery which was wonderful on my end in terms of organization. Items were packed carefully during pick up and all delivered without any damages recorded. I highly recommend this company. I will definitely hire them again if I were to move back to LA.

We had tried to hire a different company who asked for photos of all of our belongings, and after days of emailing back and forth still needed to send a person to our home for an assessment - though they couldn't book an appointment for 10 days! We immediately switched to Great Canadian Van Lines who were prompt, professional and so easy to communicate with. Their online portal was simple to use, and from end to end our move from BC to Alberta was seamless. The movers themselves were capable, kind, quick and careful with all of our items, and really seemed to have a passion for the work they were doing. After seeing so many items related to our cat (scratcher, bed, etc.) they asked to see him and heaped praise on what a good boy he was while giving him scritches. A really nice moment amidst a stressful time that was made so much easier by this company. Thank you Great Canadian Van Lines!

Kathy was very helpful and supportive from the time I called her for the quote right until my stuff came to the destination. On departure day, the team arrived as promised at 9AM, moved all my boxes from the basement to the their truck very carefully and quickly, couple hours later they sent me the actual weight(which turned out to be less than estimated, which is really good). The arrival date was within the timeframe Kathy provided to me at the beginning. Nothing was lost nor damaged and there was NO hidden fees. Thanks for the service, it was awesome!

Great Canadian Van Lines Movers were fast and efficient and the estimate I received was fair; this is never an inexpensive undertaking. The movers were fast and efficient with the little packing I had them do; they wrapped everything carefully and loaded the transport. The weight was less than estimated and my invoice reflected that difference. I am very happy with the service from Ron and his crew at both ends of this project.

The team at GCVL was by far the most responsive and took the time to explain the process of everything in detail. We also found the quote very self explanatory and easy to read and understand compared to the ones we've received from other companies. We worked with Sara on the quote and she was very helpful in answering all of our questions. Ron and his team were excellent and took care in wrapping everything.
