Takes time to research the organizations, but they make it simple to use. In first year with the program, we raised over $60,000 from Canadian Foundations. Well worth the $1000 investment.

I started using Grant Advance at the last organization I was at and was able to bring in $50K plus every year through grant writing to various foundations we discovered through Grant Advance. I recently moved to a larger non-profit that has done very little grant writing, so I introduced them to Grant Advance and explained how valuable and user friendly it is. We signed up with them within the week and now I am developing a volunteer team to start researching and connecting with potential foundations to start a relationship and invite them to support our great work. The GA staff are awesome and so helpful. In December I was able to secure over $11,000 in grants for our education program - more than $23500 for the year - and that is just using Grant Advance off the side of my desk.

We received a $5000 grant from one foundation within 2 weeks of us mailing out our first batch of letters. Our Board was hesitant to pay for the service, but it's very difficult to find information on available grants through many foundations across Canada. Grant Advance opened up more opportunities for our shelter to reach out for funding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After years of trying to find funding through the usual methods, which didn't work, Grant Advance opened the door to hundreds of potential funders no one knew about. It took a little work to get set up, all with the help of the amazing Grant Advance staff who were always there to answer questions and help directly, one-on-one. I followed their plan (which I strongly recommend) and 2 months after sending out my first batch of request letters (total 125 for my first campaign), I've received $15,360 in funding! My first positive response was a donation of $10,000, and I asked only for their "median" amount of $1,000! They're still coming in! I urge everyone to write personally passionate Letters of Inquiry about your cause because that's what gets attention, and that's what Grant Advance recommends. Follow the plan and success will follow!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Grant Advance database application has been an invaluable tool enabling our charity to raise the funds necessary for us to continue providing our services to the communities we serve. The robust search engine allows us to easily zero-in on compatible Foundations and Charitable Trusts and provides key information for each such as their funding priorities and giving history. The application is easy to use with explanatory help built-in for each module and Grant Advance staff are always available to provide on-on-one support and training as needed.
