They’re very good but seem expensive considering the size. I recall years ago they where soooo good, larger, more filling, fairly priced. Like so many things nowadays, not as good as they used to be. Grandma’s is still worth the visit, the super tasty homemade banana bread almost makes up for any shortcomings of the tarts. :)

Grandma's always goes the extra mile, whether it be free ice cream/tart on your name day, or freebie give aways like the tea I was gifted on valentines.
Anyways, enough said, this is your clear choice, now go get something delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grandma's Beach Treats is the BEST ice cream store in Wasaga Beach! I make sure to end my trip with a sweet treat from here every year when I visit Wasaga Beach. The staff are all so lovely! And there's WAY more than just ice cream, any goodie you can think of, Grandma's has it! The butter tarts are award winning and I could spend all day trying each of the many fudge flavours! Plus the name game each day is super fun.. Every day they pick a new name and that person gets a free treat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing staff and products! No matter how busy it gets the staff although sometimes slammed are polite and super friendly! I so appreciate seeing people show understanding and not be rude even if their wait is a little longer. Ice cream always makes things better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place a bit chaotic and the wait was very long. (20 mins to order and 20 mins to pick up) As a first time customer, the ice cream (espresso flake) was delicious, but I was a bit turned off by the wait and unpleasantness of one of the servers. Maybe they were understaffed and she was having a bad day. Seems like there are many positive reviews, so maybe I tried this place on an off-day.
