★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park in the Cornell community that is adjacent to a large trail and paved lined pond that is great for young families. If you're lucky, you can catch a close of the swans in the ponds depending on the season.

A decent sized park with a history of the bell that is a historic landmark.
In 1804, Christian Reesor and his wife Fanny Reiff and family, made the arduous trek from Pennsylvania in five horse-drawn Conestoga wagons and settled over 2,500 acres in Markham Township. They cleared heavily forested land in order to obtain productive farm land and secured a new life in Canada. On this site, son John and wife Annie Grove raised their family of fifteen children. This type of bell was used to call the family in from the fields for meals and was donated by the Reesor family in 2009.
The park itself is nicely laid out, a playground in the area complements the park. The park is lined with maple trees and gives off nice autumn colors.
