★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best place in Laval to learn jiu-jitsu....people are really respectful, teachers are super competent and make sure everyone is safe while learning. Wheter you want to compete, learn BJJ for self defence, GB laval is a good place to go. Classes for Kids are really good too.

Regardless of how tired after school she is or how much homework she has, she insists on never skipping a class! I can see her gaining more self-confidence with every day she trains. It is a great environment for beginners to come and learn from a legitimate Black Belt with a wealth of knowledge, as well as experienced practitioners to take their game to the next level. I would recommend Gracie Barra Laval to parents looking to get their kids exposed to real life self defense scenarios, and is a GREAT place to build confidence. Professor Guigui has over 20 years experience in Combat Sports. It is a rarity these days to have somebody with so much experience still teach all of the kids and fundamental classes. His style is realistic, fundamental, and effective. Highly recommended!
