Outlets in apartment don't work and when told about the problem it never has gotten fixed. I could go on about the problems but in all honeslty it is just not worth it to move into the Gorge apartments. Especially 157.
F	Fina Dimalanta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1110 Queens Ave. When Capreit took over they removed the exterior access to the locker room where they want us to park our bikes so we have to come through three doors, two of which are locked, instead of just one to store our bike in the locker room from outside. Next they removed one of the two laundry rooms so all three floors have to line up for the one laundry room on the first floor. Then they doubled the price of the laundry machines. Never ever make a request for help from Matt at their Gorge Rd. office. They also eliminated the position of Building Manager. I would never rent from Capreit again, ditto for Proline and Newport who also 'managed' this building.

Easter weekend and first time in five years that someone answered the phone on a Saturday that was not the answering service. i was trying to avoid the $25 fee AND trying to make the staff happy by doing direct payments instead of online transfers, which they had previously expressed took too long. because they do not take cash payments, because i don't use a chequing account and because no banks are open this weekend and will not be until the 2nd of the month, i have to pay a late fee. i wonder if the staff at the office work for the tenants or for the corporation behind the name. i am a tenant. i am a customer. i do not receive good customer service. <--edited review to avoid legal ramifications =P my other one had more punch and heart but these guys can be frightening to me.
L	Lobstrus The Malificent on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Along with the building being in a major need of repair, there is a long term tenant who lives in 101 who has stolen other people pets and given them away countless times. The property manager Luke refuses to do anything about it. Do NOT move here especially of you have a pet unless youre 100 percent sure it will never get out
N	N M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lived in a capreit building for around a year. No real complaints so far. Except sauna in mens room has never worked since i moved in. They had it looked at but it doesnt compare to a proper sauna. Doesnt heat up well. maybe cause room is too big maybe the machine is not working optimally? Maybe the timer only being 30 minute sdoesnt let it heat up enough. But just not a true sauna more like a mildly warm yoga room.
