Gordie Howe Bridge
About Gordie Howe Bridge
SL&P provides electrical service within the 1958 City boundary with the exception of the University of Saskatchewan, which is jointly serviced by SL&P and SaskPower. The areas outside the 1958 boundary are served by SaskPower.
As the boundaries intersect in some neighbourhoods, SL&P and SaskPower each provide service to the following areas: Airport Business Area, Arbor Creek, College Park East, CN Industrial, Erindale, Evergreen, North Industrial and Westview.
If you're uncertain of who provides your electrical service, you can consult your monthly utility bill or call Saskatoon Light & Power at 306-975-2414 during regular business hours or 306-975-2476 after business hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice bridge I guess. Why does the surface whine differently then the road on either side of it? As a regular South circle commuter I love the South road. Kudos Saskatoon. First time I've reviewed a bridge, hopefully there are more to analyze down the road...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super glad all of the problems during construction were eventually solved.
There was an awful lot of procrastination going on during the build, usually with contractors putting off problems with remarks of “ah we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it”
All in all it led to a fantastic end result.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give this bridge zero stars, I would... NOT! Now, THIS is what I call a bridge! Not only is it just your run-of-the-mill, standard, boring bridge, it's a COOOOOOOL bridge!
Are you tired of walking every day? You want to burn calories, but walking is just so ~bland~ and unimpressive. Long gone are the days of joggin' witchya walkman, or even streaming on your ipod, and it's not like you can just make your toque play samples from Spotify. The same boring scenery, blah, blah, blah... If these are your bridge-related complaints, well, we've got the product for you: The Gordie Howe Bridge in picturesque Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! Not only does it display interesting works of art from some of the city's greatest creators, but it also has its own sound system, the eerily deja-vu whooooooshes and whiiiiiiirrrrs of the traffic! Equipped with state-of-the-art SmoothPath and new anti-flickering light technology, the Gordie Howe Bridge is perfect for any leisurely activities, whether it be walking, jogging, cycling, skateboarding, or anything else you can possibly imagine. A picturesque landmark in the Paris of the Canadian prairies, the Gordie Howe Bridge is a "must" on every Sasky's to-do list.
Fr though, this is a pretty cool bridge to walk on. It's veeeeeeery long and smooth and flat, well maintained as well. Come take pictures of the bridge when it's dark out.
