I will never attend this Gym because of remarks posted on CHAT Facebook by employee Jeff Schwindt. He obviously does not care about the covid-19 crisis that Medicine Hat is currently dealing with and as such I would never feel safe in this business.

Always a high level of service at GoodLife and this location is no exception. Friendly staff and a well kept facility.

All in all, this goodlife location is decent. Coming from Calgary, this location cleans regularly, always tidy and the locker rooms are kept up. The poor rating is for the company itself. Covid has been tough for everything.. I get it but goodlife has dropped the ball and lost my business and others I know. First, they are not 24/hr anymore. It’s been over a year and still have short hours but our membership fees have stayed the same. There is no restriction on being open 24/hr for a rec facility. Just a cost savings move on goodlifes part. Second, why a national company would isolate so many people by refusing their business unless their vaccinated is beyond me. Every other gym I inquired with has gone with the capacity route, not the immunization regulations. Unfortunately after 3 years with goodlife and overall good experience, it ended today. I’m all for looking out for each other but I’m drawing a line with companies forcing hands on my health. Normally I wouldn’t bother writing a review with my beliefs tied to it, but if their going to give us ultimatums then this should be expected. Just know, there’s other options out there for gyms that don’t get involved in politics and offer you ultimatums.

Disappointed at the hours... use to be 24/7. Take your sign down if your not planning on going back to longer hours. 6pm on a Sunday, at least make it 8pm or 10pm.

Its been a few months since the sauna is down and they still havent fix it. It also say 24/7 but still no plans of doing even after the restriction and still bills us the same amount as being open for 24houurs

Great and new place. It has a great variety of machines to work out. Has showers and sauna. Friendly and helpful staff. Can be crowded in the evening. You can access personal training spinning or dancing. There is a day care available and you can also ask for towels.

GoodLife. Gym says 24/7. However it’s not. Closed on holidays, have open/close times, 24/7 means open all year round all hours of day. There are many that work shift work, who can’t go between the times they are open, people have PTSD, anxiety, depression, health conditions that requires them to work out. The times don’t work well for clients but do for the staff. Who pays their memberships so the employees can get paid.. we do. I know many who have cancelled their memberships due to not standing behind what you are a 24/7 gym. Also the saunas brake sometimes I get it but months to fix them get real. If your not going to be 24/7, take the sign down.
