★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had their food when they were located at Stoughton and Midale before I moved to Balgonie. Always missed their food: Chinese buffet, curry, and special made Chinese food. Chef Mok and his wife Yan became our family friends ever since. They are very nice and friendly couple with their two beautiful children. Congratulations! Chef Mok and Yan finally settle into “the old Diner of Balgonie” PERMANENTLY for their new restaurant, and we can finally taste the authentic Chinese food again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the second time we have ordered from here and the first was not exactly a good experience. However we thought we would give them another go and ordered a good size order of multiple menu items. Everything we ordered was bad, the fried rice was yellow and appeared to be boiled in broth. The dry ribs were not dry in anyway and just sloppy fatty something. The two entrees we had to go with the order were bland and we both could not finish the small amount we dished ourselves. I do not reccomend this place and personally will not go back for a third attempt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really surprised so see a small town Chinese restaurant offer authentic Chinese dishes! The curry beef brisket here is great, tastes exactly like how it’s served in Hong Kong. Restaurant is small but clean and service is friendly. Will probably be back again next week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is truly amazing. We stumbled upon it by accident and it is now one of my favorite places. The pineapple seafood rice curry was one of the best dishes I've ever ordered from any restaurant. We are truly saddened by the fire and really hope it opens again sometime soon. We will be waiting patiently for that day.
