V	Victoria Lopez Garcia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been living at their cosburn ave location for almost 2 years and in these two years I have had a roach and bedbug infestation due to neglect on managements part. The way the building is kept is deplorable. I sent the district manager an email and she responded by telling me that she didn't bring the bedbugs or roaches into our building the disrespect and audacity of this woman . It is simply disgusting the way in which they treat their tenants who are their bread and butter. I can just imagine how they treat tenants having a hard time paying for their rent. I had to call pest control myself to get my unit sprayed because I can't live in these conditions. I wish I could give them no stars because they deserve non.

Absolutely negligent management and equally unprofessional, careless and inconsiderate building manager. Never on site. Never answering emails or requests - Infested with cockroaches - the infestation is beyond control. They won’t change the plumbing fixtures - didn’t change a broken WC for 7 months and gave the excuse that due to pandemic everyone had bought up supplies of WC’s. Giving them one star cause there is no option to rate them with a BIG ZERO. I couldn’t be any happier to leave this place. Hope this serves as a warning to anyone interested in renting from this property management. Read up the news - they have been categorical negligent at many other rental sites too! The only person who ever cared to help was the building supervisor and he too never got support from the management.

I informed the super on April 26, 2021 that i have bed bugs and his reply was oh ya other apartments have them too. I never in my life have had bed bugs. Till this day I am still waiting to have my place sprayed and it's going on three weeks. The building is dirty and the garbage outside just piles up and looks like a junk yard. The super says one thing and does another thing. You can never get a straight answer from the super and the head office in Montreal never answers their phone or returns your call. They are quick to ask for your rent though!
M	M A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a terrible company, pushing tenants with surprise fees that violate their contract, resulting in deliberately sending automated billings with "outstanding" payments that are false. Over burdening employees with more buildings than they can manage resulting in multiple losses of super intendants and high staff turn over. Faulty doors allowing strangers into the buildings along with rodents, additional pest control severely lacking resulting in filth. Fire safety violations, neglectful of high needs tenants basic rights such as access to their homes on upper floor due to an inability to call an elevator repair service. How shameful that municipalities allow landlords to run buildings in such a state @PeelRegion

Doors are not locked, the underground garage door is 90 percent of the time not locked, you just drive in and when they do fix it, the lock to get in doesn't let you in. Had a 5 car line today to get in... repair guys says he fixed it yesterday. A repair that last 24 hours....that a great job.

I moved into their Mcmurchy apartment sept 1st 2021,first day moving in the door in the apartment were damaged,the previous tenant left all their garbage inside the apartment and instead the management throw them in the garbage they put them on my balcony,the washroom sink do not work! I asked to hve it fixed,they ignored my email, the kitchen sink leaks to the point where I can smell the mold what makes matters worst is that I have a new born, my next step is to go to the landlord and tenant board if that doesn’t help I will be going to the media!! If I could break my lease I would be moving by January!! Everyone’s review is bad there must be something wrong with management!! Golden equity ya’ll need to find new staff.
Z	Zachary Amzallag on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An unmitigated disaster. Hana Krischke in particular, who manages their property at 1475 King St. W. is an absolute nightmare to communicate with. She is rude, unprofessional, irresponsible, unreliable, et j'en passe. I don't wish this landlord / tenant situation on anyone. 1) Superintendent turnover is about 2 per year (they leave in tears, or under some type of legal dispute) 2) Units are in disrepair 3) Malpractice and neglect to the point of danger (having failed to upkeep the heater in the building, a fire was caused in the basement and put all units at risk of severe carbon monoxide / smoke poisening. 4) As a result there was no heating in the building for 1 month in the dead of winter. They gave us a 20$ space heater form walmart. Laughable. 5) Persistent pest problems throughout building. In case you're wondering--yes, there are hearings underway at the Ontario tenant board and we are suing. However desperate you may be for a place to live, please, think of your mental and physical health before considering anything managed by Golden Equity.
